I’d like to see them make a power drivers seat standard on the OR and Sport.

Dealer told me yesterday that they were adding a hybrid (efficiency hybrid) option.

That will be interesting to see sine they'll need more batteries, not sure where they'll put them.

From what I've been hearing on this board, a larger fuel tank would be welcomed:fingerscrossed:

I think a lot of people perfer a midsize truck for various reasons and Toyota generally beats the competition and having a robust inventory helps sales. I wouldn't even know where to look for a Ranger I never see them at the dealer.

All the complaints about the range of EV trucks, you'd think Toyota would want their top selling truck to offer more range per tank.

The seats themselves were fine for the most part. I would just prefer to have the power adjustability in the lower trim levels (I had a '24 SR5), hence my '26 "wish list" item. I believe in the current trim level / options you have to get a at least the Sport or OR trim level with a package that comes with extras just to get the power seat.
My current '22 is an SR5 but it has the power seat and with my lower back issues, its nice to have the adjustability for days when its needed.

You want to make it more complicated and expensive for no other reason than to have power controls instead of manual?

I’m one of those people. I remember when full-size trucks were the size of today’s midsize trucks. I neither need nor want a current full-size truck since today’s midsize does all I need and is easier to live with in public parking spaces.

In which year did Toyota introduce manual seats with all the same adjustments the power seats provide? My 2017 manual seats are pretty basic.

power seats have been around since the 60’s and are available on a mid $20k Corolla. They offer more adjustments than the manual seats and should be standard on a truck that cost this much imo.

I would assume so. Maybe AWD with a rear motor? But that would necessitate an independent rear suspension. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think the Sienna/Rav4/Highlander hybrid system will bolt on to a "body on frame" truck...

The Sienna can tow 3500lbs so take that for what its worth. With this design, being a planetary gear e-CVT, you won't need to worry about overheating your transmission :bananadead:

    Good question. Under the bed?

You'll be paying more on top of the current price for that power seat. I think people are accustomed to convenience and power this and power that. I like things to work when they aren't getting 12v power.

There's a safety campaign Stop Look and Lock to prevent people from leaving the kids in the car. Convenience has made people complacent if people had to physically lock and unlock their doors there could be less of that happening. I like power locks and am not saying to get rid of them. If they the campaign has lock in the title I'm sure there's some evidence of locking the doors contributes to the deaths. Who doesn't have power locks and a key fob on their family hauler?
