The $10k asking price on that one seems steep, but it is clean... I wonder what morning me will think.

Haven't been on in a few, just saw this. Good to hear that, and timely! I hadn't even thought of how it might affect bugs etc. We have big ant issues around here at the beach in summer, especially after a rain. They scramble from the flooding yard and take their eggs to wherever its safest, sometimes that means your car.

Can't blame you, I visited PA last week and had forgotten that Easterners get humidity... terrible invention. Got used to it quicker than I thought I would though, helped I was already hot from being in a partial fursuit.

The older I get the more annoying it is. Mostly when we have a streak of ten straight days of 100+ or so.
Now I'm just picturing you in half of a suit at a Furry convention in Pennsylvania haha.
(I was up there in June and they were on a heater then too)

I couldn't do a fullsuit in that weather... 90+ humidity in a padded wearable carpet, the folks who can do it all day are badass. I was entirely content to poodle around and not die of a heat stroke.

Imagine no longer... it does make me considerably taller though and I hit my head on low doors haha

That's wild! Head on with short sleeves seems like the best call! I cannot imagine going full suit in summer, even if you're indoors most of the time.
How's the sight and breathability in there by the way?

Yeah in normal air conditioning it is probably fine for 80% of people... but this convention recognizes the crowd thankfully and cranks the hell out of the AC system to keep the suiters from melting (a requirement where folks are literally having dance competitions and raves). Sight out of my head is pretty good, my maker sized everything right so I don't have the dead vision spot in between my eyes that some get. I, like most others have pretty poor peripheral (you get very used to rotating your head like an owl) and in weird night time lighting I can get partially blind standing right under a light wrong where it hits the eye mesh. But overall I'd wager I can see better than most, suit design in the last 5 years has come a long ways in making things less cumbersome, better breathing, and with more vision. I don't need a handler to get around and I can navigate stairs and escalators fine on my own. My glasses fit comfortably in my head too which is a huge bonus because I do not enjoy wearing contact lenses. Only thing that I noticed which isn't usually a problem given where I live is that my glasses can fog going from inside to outside and vice versa.

My 50 Gallon Whirlpool Water Heater purchased in 2016 started leaking this morning. That was a good run for a 6-year heater. Whirlpool no longer makes water heaters. It looks like AO Smith makes the identical unit. Getting one installed is the kick. Lowes installers called and said the typical cost is $1,900. Except their AO Smith units are the pro-line and that they do not install Box store units. They will need to send an installer from 40 miles away to give me an estimate. For get it. I called my local plumber. Same day service with the same product. Typical price is $1,800 to $1,900. I should have proactively replaced the Whirlpool some years ago when I was in a position to make lower cost arrangements.

I think I chose the wrong profession. The last installation took less than 2 hours.

As a glasses wearer I can imagine thats a massive bonus.
A quick aside, sort of related, I saw someone last year having a blast speeding around on their bike in a full suit with matching helmet cover. I don't know how shifting was with those big feet but they were having fun.
