My BF and I were talking about that, we both ride... he wanted to rent a bike so we could go two up and one could suit on the back.

I replaced our water heater this winter and it took about an hour. Nothing tricky to it, just some simple plumbing and electrical connections. Fair enough if you don’t want to mess with it but don’t be intimidated to try it yourself.

Yeah if your house is mostly to code already it's a cake walk to do a water heater. Just don't trust shark bites to last as long as your water heater if you decide to use them.

If access is easy, it's pretty simple replacing one.

Just need to make sure you shut off gas and water lines, and drain that fucker.

Get your lines replaced too? I remember getting a late night call one time from my mom years ago, asking me to come over cause the water heater was leaking.

Both hose to the water heater looked to be in bad shape and one of them was leaking.

I loved how many locals turned up to the parade and block party events, tons of happy adults and kids. Suiters always have stickers and stuff for the kids and they're happy to stop for pics and high fives. The only people who don't like em are the ones who refuse to actually go and experience it.

How true that is for so many things. Easier to make a snap-judgement when they don't immediately understand something that's even just a tiny bit out of their comfortable norm. But hey, their lives are all the more small and boring for it, sadly, so as usual, jokes on them in the end.

Weird is good. (And tbh what is "weird" anyway?)
Also I always assumed comic-con people were sort of on-par with drama kids in school, who got up to some wild stuff, they just kept it in their little circle so most people didn't know.

    HEY!

You're right tho. Someone's gotta make sure I don't walk into the dealers den with my credit card.

Also yeah I have room for a fan in the muzzle I think, but I was trying to find a way to be clever with it an have it easily removable... Think I'm gonna 3D print a tennis ball shaped fan/battery holder to shove in there.

I stopped at the coolvest booth to try it out, man that's a damn game changer, but like it only works for the folks with big digitigrade suits that have extra padding in them already. If you have a slim fit suit or you're poodle-ing you'll look like you got a police officers vest on.

Fortunately, all of the pipes and hoses were replaced in 2016.
