It’s hot and muggy, and I’m cutting the lawn today. Before the rain rain moves in around noon

 

That’s what I need to be doing but someone is 6 hours ahead and started texting me at 2am So I will get going when my head decides not to explode.

Good morning all,

the bacon and pancakes are hiding safely in my belly. I have to go rent a log splitter and get some rounds split apart and into the shed. The tree was dead standing so hopefully this stuff will be burn this winter. I'm so far behind schedule this year.

Happy camping/flying/sailing/hammock driving to everyone engaged in such activities.

 

I got with reality and decided to be smart(er) and rent a damn splitter instead of being "manly" and busting my back with a wedge and sledge.

I believe I’m going to like the size. I can’t plug it in yet because it was packed in it’s box laying on its side in another box and it says wait 12 hours.
I will bring it up to temperature in the morning put some drinks in it and then plug it into the eco flow and see how long it runs. Even the 60 quart will go about a day and a half. This 30 should go more I hope.

 

I love my mini fridge. Mine fits behind the driver's seat in the Taco.

I used my big one on my recent trip and found out quickly it was more than I needed solo. I’m hoping this 30 will be a better fit. And I loved not having to deal with ice.

 

I'm quite comfortable inside with AC set at 69° and my Dehumidifier running

 

Even thought I used a machine, I'm wiped out.

 

I was surprised to see how low the outside humidity was for you. It was in the 80% range here today. ( I'm just sharing some data, I'm not making it a contest!)

Right now I have the thermostat set at 77° and it feels decent in here. The cooler basement draws some of the heat downstairs.

 

That's quite a few cords of firewood !!!

 

Honestly, I doubt that it's even a full cord. Each bin in the wood shed is 1 cord.

 

I believe I’m finished with coolers. One of these paired with the ecoflow is pretty much pack it and forget it. I keep it plugged into the cigarette plug on the truck and the fridge plugged into the cigarette plug on the ecoflow. On long drive days the fridge draws less than the 12v from the truck supply’s and it will stay a100% or close to it. The next morning it will still be 60% give or take. I only had to take the ecoflow in once while in basalt because I stayed 4nights and wasn’t driving a lot. If you had a place to mount a 100w solar panel you could probably totally forget about it.

 

Nice. I’ll be interested in how it does. My Dometic stopped working half way home saved most of everything but two ribeyes…ugh made me frustrated. Not exactly the fridge’s fault though. The kitchen slide chewed through the cord. Time for a redesign of the cord management for our trailer.
