Yeah, that’s fair. Those bolts are honestly such a pain in the ass I couldn’t bother lol. They’re very solid without them anyways.

Can’t say enough about puppies harness, solid build. When that 25% sale comes around for Toyota best time to buy the led headlights, cheaper with his kit then Morimoto

Just did the job on my 2018 Tacoma TRD Off Road

$280 - Pair of eBay headlights - 3 broken tabs between them
    $24 - 3D printed tabs
    $16 - Harness
    $7 JB weld PlasticBonder

I sanded the housing and tabs and cleaned them with some brake cleaner before epoxying. the install took about 1.5hrs after fixing the tabs (did this on separate days).

A world of caution, the side 3d printed tab, and the dummy plug for the harness needed some modification to fit right. YMMV with what parts you order. A quality harness likely doesnt have these issues.

Im still fairly new to this vehicle, and I did have a question about the functionality of the headlights. It seemed that when I had the headlights set to the 3rd setting, the one just above the "DRL" it didn't seem like the lights would turn off after I locked the vehicle, or after what seemed like a few minutes. When set to DRL and locking the car, the lights turn off immediately. is this typically how this functions.

Photo taken with the car with the hazards on. I love how it looks with the ambers, but they're normally white.

that seems right, I usually just turn mine off. If I do leave my lights on, no matter the setting they will turn off after so long
