It was the first Halo game to be played online - XBConnect via PC wasn't available until later which allowed users to use their PC as a gateway to other Xbox consoles

Your Xbox console thought you were setup to plan on LAN

 

Reach forge was good to, but the physics made most halo 3 custom games undoable. But their were some fun ones to come out of reach

 

You ever use hamachi back in the day to fake LAN

 

Never used it but had heard about it; people used that for certain PC games right?

 

Played so many hours of hurricane katrina

 

Yeah it was PC, can’t remember what games I used it for. Maybe games that required server rentals or it was just at a time when setting up servers was too complicated

 

I think Halo 3 was a technically superior game (obviously, it should be) but Halo 2, and Halo: CE before it, were both new and unique in ways that can't be dethroned.


That said, Rocket Race in Halo 3 was peak for me.

 

I sucked at forge, but what some people were able to create was insane

Lets not forget Battlefield Bad company 2. Now that was a great game. I want to replay the campaign but sadly they don’t sell a digital copy, and i got a series S so no disc for me

 

So, I wanted to buy Mechassault just because (I think I owned it back in the day)

But I've got Splinter Cell files already ready to go

That and there are plenty on Ebay for cheap

Just not doing it until after we visit @Tour991 because Ebay buyers love using USPS Ground Advantage or whatever slow AF shipping company

Then I'll have a game sitting in a mailbox for days in this heat

 

That was a great game for sure

 

Yeah it was more about the switch from 1 to 2, and being open up to playing online

Xbox 360 is a whole other generation of weirdos as opposed to OG Xbox owners

 

Then you've got the new Fable game that still doesn't have a damn release date
