I played a ton of 2 at my friend's house as a kid. I don't think I ever played Black.

I still remember some of the unlock/combo sequences from TM:2, even though I haven't played it in like... 25+ years.

Damn, you got me beat there

I do still know the secret menus for MK3 on Genesis, and passcodes for Mega Man 4 and 6 (on NES) but that's about it :bananadead:

    OH hell yeah

So in looking at 2 channel amps for my speakers, I looked around Ebay for a Peachtree Decco.

For those that don't know, it's a highly underrated integrated with tube stage (you can roll different tubes), built-in high current amp, and sports a nice DAC.

Found a Nova and they generally sell for $800+ on the used market seeing as how it's got a larger amp, and has an even nicer DAC using an ESS Sabre chip. Overall, the Nova is the equivalent of an M Bimmer compared to a regular one.

This one was $550 so I put it on my Watchlist - https://www.ebay.com/itm/116682059187

Dude sent me an offer for $500 which I countered at $300 (the price for a very well-used Decco) with a comment saying "Don't expect to win, sorry for the lowball offer. Looking for a Decco" and the guy took it :bananadance:

I thought it was BS that you couldn't be in the parade unless you had everything on. Like we're going through some heat here in PA, let people wear partials in the parade! They've gotten kinda weird with rules after 2020.

Ooof, galvanized is no bueno. That's what my house was plumbed in when I lived in Mississippi. It was on the verge of collapse, but I sold it to move back to PA so it's the next persons problem.

My current house is run in 1/2" copper, so water pressure is meh sometimes. I've slowly been cutting it all out and up-sizing to 3/4" PEX. Redid the water softener system a couple months ago and really got some progress on this.

The GX passed the coin balance test. I call it the Jersey compression test. My phone slipped, and I completely botched the video. Because I didn't have a nickel, I used a dollar coin given at the car wash.

I'm going to donate the 98 Maxima to the High School Auto Repair Club. I will get a receipt for taxes. It runs and drives. They may be able to fix it up and resell it. Anyway, it served us well for almost 10 years. I can't remember what I paid for it. Possibly something like $800. But I did put a nice suspension on it and had it in good shape after I bought it.

Hah, I lost money on a "project car" big time. It was a '95 Talon non-turbo. It was a friends mother car that had some sentimental value. Me and my friend (who is no longer with us, fuck you heroin!) even replaced the engine when I was 16.

Turned out to be too much of a project for me. It was rotted something fierce!

I actually completed that side. No such patch panels were available and I had to fabricate everything by hand.

But, around that time I bought a house and just didn't have the time. Engine smoked like a bong and the entire suspension was wasted. Was a bittersweet moment when it left my driveway.

Sorry for the pic heavy post. Just going down memory lane.

That rule was poorly explained and I blame AC for that, but folks are running too far with it now that it has been. It was fine to wear a partial in the parade... But to keep the whole thing family friendly for the parade since lots of normal Pittsburgh folks show up they didn't want skin showing. It was done largely as a dress code thing rather than a full fursuit requirement.

Yesterday when I visited my fam, my mom had some more old toys to give me.

I totally forgot about these micro machines with the little view finder
