If it's a dual pressure cutout like the factory switch it won't turn on if there's no pressure in the system. A/C Amplifier won't turn the compressor on if the switch isn't closed (grounded).

Hmmmmmmmm. I guess it’s not unreasonable to assume the system isn’t leaking. Maybe I’ll try charging it up tomorrow and see what happens. I guess I could ground the pressure switch for a second and see if it turns on.

BOOM ac compressor is turning. Sounds like she just needs to be charged up. It shouldn’t have leaked out over the past year and a half ish, but I guess it’s not unreasonable given how long my lines are and how many junctions there are.

Idk I guess now you gotta go hunting for leaks, do you have dye in the system? If not I'd add a tad when you charge it up, makes finding leaks much easier most of the time.

Yeah I used the OEM Toyota oil and dye. I’ll add some more when I charge it up and see where it’s at.

Well driving around today at highway speeds while it was 106 out, the temps were rock solid ~184 ish. Really doesn’t even need the second fan now that they’re oriented correctly. I also had the exhaust hard mounted to the frame right before the fender exit so it doesn’t rattle anymore, and the tire cage was modified to fit the existing feet and not interfere on the fans anymore. We’ll see how it does tomorrow driving at highway speeds with the tires back there, since it’ll change airflow pretty significantly. I bet it will do even better.

    Also:

dropped the tundra off today, had my homies where I used to work raise the front end a little bit, adjust the pano cameras, oil change, alignment etc etc. truck sits level now and looks/feels way better. I just paid Westcott Designs to do this, but they wouldn’t raise it anymore without doing control arms and axles:confused:

    IMG_6174.jpg

I understand their reasoning behind it but at the same time, I know what I’m doing, and if I fuck up an axle, I’ll deal with it, but I’m not going to be dropping 4k at their shop to raise it a half inch.

I'm glad it seems to be working better cuz I'll be honest, I'd feel responsible if you did all that work and it didn't change anything

For the Tundra, did they adjust the headlights down so you’re not blinding on coming drivers with your low beams also?

Is the speedometer calibrated? If so, then it should be accurate.

My speedo is just GPS speed, so ye. But it does not feel like I’m getting more than about 150 miles per tank

Last time I bothered to work it out I got around 200 miles to a tank, but I think I have a fueling issue that I will need to take back to the engine tuner to see what's up, plus I'm still running stock gears with the 37s.
