    Evening all,

I need to tap the +/- wires of the horn and have been unable to find any wiring diagram for guidance. There are two horns; driver's side has a pink and black wire and the passenger side horn only has a black wire.

Haven't pulled out the voltmeter yet and thought I would post here for some input. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I would love to install an additional loud train horn connected separately connected to a port on my AuxBeam switch for special usage. :burnrubber: I could make it momentary, or maybe pulsing when switch pressed. :ballchain: Need to find a good horn that can be added to my 2024 Pro. Anyone have any suggestions?

@JimScotty that is EXACTLY what I am doing. I have an aux switch that I will be leveraging but need to get the Motohorn 3.0 installed and working first.

This is the horn I chose: https://motohorn.com/trainhorn/

They only have a power going to them, they ground to the body.
Black wire is a jumper to the other horn.

I like it, looks cool. Have you looked into any other products such as the Farbin models? https://www.amazon.com/FARBIN-Trumpet-Compressor-Vehicle-Black(Black/dp/B0CZ6QW18D

I am not sure where I would place and mount these Trumpet horns.

I have not. Already have the Motohorn 3.0 installed. Just don't have it completely wired up yet.

    Food for thought,

Unless I was wanting to look for a fight that might or might not result in gunfire and/or vehicular assault, I personally would avoid installing road rage devices.

Instead I assume that at any given moment I'm in proximity of drivers (plural) who are actively looking for that fight. May they find each other and not me.

Good point! Best to avoid such conflicts as they usually don't turn out well. I just want to use my OEM horn when necessary, or even a train horn for fun, or when needed to ensure attention. I live in a semi-rural area, so my needs may be different than someone who lives in the city driving in heavy traffic like I used to do. Now my horn is more useful to get a cow or deer off the road.

to be able to use my stock horn switch, I aaded a relay in place of oem horn, so no matter jow much
current new horn drew, relay would handle it
I will do the same to my 2025 when it arrives in a few days.

@Rock Lobster road rage devioce??? wow, maybe you live in Compton California. Regardless, you are certainly welcome to keep what you have and not do whatever you don't feel comfortable doing. But since you went there... IMHO, part of the reason our country is in the state it is, is because good men and women (myself included) didn't speak up when a-holes are being a-holes. So now, there are many many more a-holes exhibiting a-hole behavior because no one ever says anything. For example: when someone walks into the road and stands there blocking traffic, should I run them over...? Or blast a 130 decibel horn at them that will more than likely make them move because it hurts their ears too much. In my neighborhood, we have numerous people who seem to like to walk/run IN THE STREET even though we have sidewalks! Worse, some walk/jog going with the flow of traffic so they don't see you coming nor can they hear me because they have noise canceling earpods/headphones.

So... while you're entitled to your opinion... this thread was asking for guidance on installing a 3rd party horn. Not whether one should have one or not. You are welcome to create another thread for that. Thanks.

You obviously don't understand human behavior if you think that a 120 db horn will make people say, "oh yes, I made a mistake. Gee mister, thank you for teaching me the error of my ways by triggering my primitive fight or flight response."

Oh, and I don't live in California. I live in second amendment country. So does everyone else on the roads I drive. It's amazing, the number of people who think they're the only ones in the neighborhood who have amassed a gun collection. I make no such assumptions myself. If I can fill my safe to capacity without really trying...

But you're obviously the level headed individual that doesn't take offense to anything and is the one person that can use a sonic weapon responsibly. Go for it. Enjoy yourself.

In the situation you're describing in which someone could be shot for honking a loud horn, it's not logical to conclude that the horn in that scenario is the road rage device to which you are apparently opposed.
