Yea I got it sold yesterday. I’m just glad I was able to find a buyer. If I’d sold a month earlier before the pump went out I probably could’ve gotten 1500. Oh well, I def think I’m not gonna have rose coloured glasses as much the next time I look at a vehicle.

Has anybody been to Coos Bay, OR? There’s a job open there I might apply to.

Nah lol I just saw there was an Environmental Planning job open with the Coquille Tribe. It would be nice to be by the sea, but apparently the Oregon Coast is super methy and rundown. You'd think it'd be nicer and more sought after cause of all the natural beauty. Crescent City is supposed to be kind of a dump despite being literally right on the doorstep of the redwoods and amazing beaches.

Yeah Northern Pacific beach towns are all depressed, weather is mostly not good until mid-late summer and it is always windy as shit and often cold. Industry is all gone so all the cities make their money in the 1.5mo the weather isn't total ass.

The actual coast is beautiful with lots of spots to hike, fish, camp, etc.

Been backpacking a few times out there; rained a lot though

Agreed. Missus was in Humboldt county when we first started dating. Boy howdy that weather is depressing. And the towns get pretty nasty really quick if you wonder to far. Coolest town I found up there was Ferndale. But it’s a tourist trap with a fair amount of dairy industry left.

bought a new pair of channel locks. they’re still made in the usa but they definitely cut every corner they could. the jaws and the heads have a sharp edge where it was milled flat because apparently it’s too much to finish. the jaws are also sloppier than the 15 year old pair i have

Little more cutting, and fulfilling some orders.

I really need to build myself a large press brake. Been putting it off for a good year now as I'm always pushing the limits in terms of clearance.

My calculations are always on point though.
