So only in reverse and only with the wheels fully turned in either direction, I'm hearing a metal rubbing noise in the front end area. (sounds like thin metal). Can't pinpoint which side.

Didn't hit anything. Just heard it when backing into my driveway a couple weeks ago.

    Maybe a brake dust shield?

    We got busy chickens here

In Tampa Bay, "sentinel chickens" play a crucial role in monitoring mosquito-borne illnesses. These chickens are part of a system where their blood is tested for viruses like West Nile and Eastern Equine Encephalitis, acting as an early warning system for potential human infections. The Tampa Bay Times has reported on this, including a recent update about a spike in West Nile Virus cases detected through the sentinel chicken program.
    Here's a more detailed look:
    • Sentinel Chickens:
Pinellas County Mosquito Control utilizes sentinel chickens, which are essentially test subjects for mosquito-borne diseases.
    • Early Detection:
The chickens are monitored for viruses like West Nile and Eastern Equine Encephalitis through weekly blood tests. If a virus is detected in a chicken's blood, it indicates that the virus is present in the mosquito population in that area, potentially posing a risk to humans.
    • Monitoring System:
Mosquito control programs across Florida, including those in Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties, use sentinel chickens as part of their surveillance strategies.
    • Recent Spike in West Nile:
Pinellas County recently issued a Mosquito-Borne Illness Advisory due to a spike in West Nile Virus cases detected through the sentinel chicken program.
