    Too bad part of it’s on fire again haha but yeah there are some good ones still just nothing compared to 15-20 years ago.

    I know, I felt that they kinda liked the fire damaged stands about 7 years after a lite fire. Google earth shows a much less canopied mountain these days…

    Yep good old state of Washington managing at its finest. Have you ever gone over the backside towards Chelan it looks like god just laid hundreds of thousands of trees over on their side with one swipe.

    Pyramid peak during regular season the following year. I crested with my rifle between some crazy snow cornices!!
    Shot a little one one the way down that day.

    from the northwest face of Pyramid about half way up looking back toward Glacier Peak the following day with a camera. I had to make a second trip for the rest of my deer. Definitely a different experience!
