I am swapping my oem headlights because they are gathering water now and was looking at headlights. I will be getting the baja designs fog lights replacement in amber. Are the Morimoto headlights water proof? They look great.

We’ve not had much in the way of moisture issues on Morimoto headlights. We’ve got them over here at Hotshot Offroad, and can hook you up as well!

Baja fogs are some of the lowest performing lights on the mainstream market, seems like a pretty poor waste of money. You'd get much better performance out of Diode Dynamics or Morimoto. I suggest reviewing the fog thread.

There are a couple of threads on Morimotos XBs on here. They are very high quality (construction and looks)....They have a good beam but not great or super bright (for $1,000 I was expecting perfection). But for fogs, Diode Dynamics Elites are the brightest street legal fogs you can get hands down. You just missed the july 4th sale, so you may want to wait for labor day or black friday.

I’ve had the Morimoto XB headlights for a couple years now and I haven’t a single issue. Like stated above, I think the OEM regular beam (not high beams) was brighter but I don’t regret getting the morimotos because the DRL is fantastic and so are the high beams.
