Did some truck stuff today

I also did some truck stuff. Feel manly now!

 

Do the trailhunters have sunroofs? The one at the dealer today did not

...I spent more time than I care to admit trying to get the "bug" off my screen near your profile pic @voz...got me!

 

New shoes, Goodyear UltraTerrain ATs. Stock size and load. If anything, they look cool.

 

Added the ARB rear recovery points and the red Toyota front ones this afternoon.

Did a thing... Ok. A few things.

Roof rack, ditch lights and wheels / tires. One more thing to do and phase I is complete.

 

I had those on my 2nd Gen for about a year before I traded it in for my ‘25. They were good tires.

 

I've been burning through my list this weekend. Bed mat, bed step, tonneau cover, mud flaps, wheel well splash guards, mud flaps, boot retainer and shift knob.

 

Nice little list. Where did you get the wheel well splash guards? How do they hold up and fit?

 

They are from Ark Splash Guards. They're made from the same plastic as the mud flaps so I expect them to hold up well. They are a snug but good fit.

 

Installed front & rear dash cams with the Dongar Pro for power assist. Running the wire for the rear camera was the most challenging part of the job.

 

How are you powering it.

 

That's the Dongar Pro's job. It hooks into the power feed behind the rear view mirror and passes that on to the camera system. No need to run wire from the camera to your outlets by the shifter. Easy job too, took about 20 min. The rear camera took a bit longer as I had to route the wire down the A pillar, under the front and rear rocker panels, then up the C pillar to the back window.
