Does it make exhaust? Cuz last time I checked that was about the only thing required to spin a turbine...

I wonder if water-cooled turbine housings exist for anything resembling a performance turbo. I've only seen/noticed them for marine Holsets and maybe Borg-Warners.

Does anyone here know anything regarding quality of the chinesium x-beam rods (and/or forged pistons) for 2/3RZs from Hench? They seem to be the only low-cost option for 3RZs at all. MaxSpeedingRods only has 135mm rods for 2RZs. Eagle has been around for ages, but also only has 2RZ parts. Is there a bigger market for 2RZs or something?

My friend has a set of Arias forged pistons for sale. 8.5 to 1. I believe .020" over if you are interested.

I saw those too, although the manufacturer(?)/brand(?) seems even more sketchy than the others. I just tried their checkout process to see what shipping would cost and the only shipping option is within China. The page also says "this store can't accept payments right now." They have another website and an Alibaba storefront. It looks like they're more of a wholesaler. IMO probably the source for some of the other rods that are available retail.

By the single. So would need them weighed and possibly balanced prior to install.

Try spool imports in Australia. They seem pretty solid, company was responsive when I asked a question a while back, and lots of people in Australia run them from what I can gather. Good price too

I wonder what tension springs Kelford Camshafts sells with their 1GR camshafts? That should give some insight.
