If the HRC rumors are true then I’m sure he’s more than thrilled to move back home for way more money. Gajser to Ducati would be sweet if true, too.

250 last sx race was definitely wtf. Good TV. RJ definitely isn't sketchy on a 450.

What’s up with the Yamaha engines? Seems like every week one of them has issues.

Those factory mechanics build and tear down and re build so many engines and bikes. I could never do that job. No way Jose. :annoyed:

Maybe that's why Tomac is going KTM...
Deegan and Tomac tend to ride more WOT and crazy than most every other title contender. They earn their Beast mode and danger boy monikers. But it IS starting to seem like a pattern

Not being confrontational, but I’ve never heard a person say the KTM platform is a WOT style bike. It’s always been the opposite and caters to the smooth rider. Think of every guy that’s won on a KTM - none of them wring the piss out of the bike. Not even Chase.

You gotta remember that Jeremy Coker left Star at the beginning of the year to manage the Triumph program. I think that has a huge impact on bike mgmt for both classes. They have a new crew chief this year as well.

The KTM doesn't seem to like to be held at the limiter. If it was the Ducati then yeah it is designed to be at the top of the power and. I can see guys trying to learn to ride more like Jett. Just seems like less work on the body to just get a good flow going

Kitchens was the 1st good racer to leave Star. Didn’t want to deal with Deegan. Wrecking Davies out of a race with two laps to go didn’t sit too well either. Deegans social media skills seems to be getting more suspect too. But winning on Sundays sells on Monday so Star just might deal with it all until another teams offers Deegan more money. :bikewhoops:

I'm sure that more went into it than riding style. And while I agree WOT is not the style of KTM rider when AP has his best races he's pinning it. So Tomac might just benefit from the softer frame since he goes full send +1 most of the time. Also can win if the bike breaks.

Agree in general for tounger riders but tomac isn't going to relearn riding style. He's just going to ring the KTM by the neck and see if it can handle it.

Do you follow any pro sports? Winning is all that team owners care about.

I actually grew up racing BMX in SoCal with and against McGrath. Knew Jeremy would be a great Supercross racer at some point. I went from being a factory BMX racer to racing pro downhill and dual slalom mountain bikes during the Norba days in the 90’s. So I know a little about racing on teams. Everyone wants to the best on the team. But there is only room for one top guy. If he is cool that’s great. If he is an ass then it can be trying at times. I don’t think any motocross champ has ridden for the same team his whole career. Hardly doubt Deegan will stay on a Yamaha his whole career either. :bikewhoops:

I think its different depending on the level and the sport. At the top level its all about money. They want to win, but its money that drives most decisions. Winning means more money so its hard to separate the two sometimes. If they could win and not sell bikes, or be top five but sell more bikes they would chose selling more bikes. Not the riders but the factory who fronts the $. Deegan sells bikes AND brings in all kinds of other revenue. They love him.
