Any suggestions for a hand held carpet cleaner extractor? Despite all the brushing..have to deal with hairball puke..
I pick up the puke let it dry, brush it out and vacuum..generally works well..
Sometimes stains are stubborn and I don't want to imbed them.
Bonus points for an extractor that can be used for tacoma.

We rub the area with paper towels or rag to get up the most of it. Then We just spray it on the spot, let it sit for awhile, then take a wet/damp rag and rub the area. Works for our hair ball barfomatic cat, hope it works for you.

We use resolve spray. To remove puke stains. Depending on the volume of puke we use a cheap 1 gal shop vac that we bought from Walmart. We only use it for these types of situations. Very import than after use the hose needs to be rinsed out very well. The ribs in the hose hold chunks of puke and after a couple of days it really smells. Bissel is also a pet focused company and they make a smaller puke sucker upper.

How did you do bathroom breaks for them? I've only made a few relatively short roadtrips with my cats over the years, but it's something that I never figured out.

It’s pretty amazing how resilient they can be! We did basically the same length move toward the end of 2023. The cats well being was the most stressful part and it ended up being the easiest of all the challenges. Ours had a great space in the back of wife’s xterra with plenty of room to sleep, food/water and litter box. The enclosure pen we got from Amazon was the key and it fit perfectly in the back between wheel wells. It gave us peace of mind when we’d stop that they couldn’t escape and disappear at some random desolate location.
im sure you had a little more of a challenge being in a truck but I’m sure the back seat area was set up with everything they needed. Glad you guys made it safely and everyone is adjusting to their new environment.

I've done the cross country PCS with 3 in a large dog crate, set up with an upper hammock shelf and litterbox. Hotel stops we'd add food and water.

We traveled with cats for years in the car. When Kitty got close to "Grandma's" house he'd crawl up on the dash in anticipation of seeing his cat cousins. On arrival he'd slap the beejeepers out of them before taking over their bed. Ahh, the fun times.
