When they came for me I was ready. My boss had set up a meeting with me, to talk about 4th quarter work in the 1st quarter of the year, yeah right who does this. I had removed anything from my cube that I wanted. Went into the meeting and our HR rep was there. As soon as he said I was RIF'ed I opened my portfolio and started to ask the HR rep the 20 or so questions I had. Never talked to my boss after he told me I was fired, did not need to because he was not my boss any longer. The look on his face was priceless. Went to my desk and grabbed my jacket, I was out of there. One of the best things that ever happened to me.

Quite a few 7-11's need to be visited. Lol. We did a complete HVAC replacement. The cost was 16K for a 2 stage Trane system. We put the system out to bid to four companies. We went with Constellation Home. The cost was a little more than our, then, service provider but they offered 0% financing over 60 months. Took me a few minutes to set up the thermostat to the way I wanted it and the system seems to be a lot nicer than our old single stage system. We had a Carrier system and it crapped out at year 13. I did a lot of research on the companies that submitted bids and was surprised how well Constellation Home was rated. You should have them in for a bid. We had them price in 5 years maintenance and service in the price. PM me if you would like any additional info.

Sorry to read this. I have been lucky in that physical therapy has kept pain at bay in my back. I have a lot of stenosis in my back and it is really bad in L2, L3, and L5.

Good morning. The griddle function works well in the new smoker. We had fajitas last night. I started the skirt steak on the griddle and charred it over the open section of the smoker. I like the new smoker. The HVAC system install was pretty smooth. The thermostat cabked requires 6 conductors but the existing wire only has 5 conductors. The only function the system does not have is the system cannot be run as a fan without the system being in the AC or the heat mode. The way the existing wire is run and where the thermostat is located would make installing a new wire a PITA. Today shoul

Managed to smack the rear stock bumper while off-roading. The backup proximity sensors died.

The OEM replacement is $240 each, so I figured I'd try the $14 Amazon specials. That fixed the problem! Yes, I need a more modern Scan Tool, as my older Autel couldn't read the sensor computer (it's hidden inside the bumper). Needed two of them, and it worked. When one or more have failed, the backup gives three *** to indicate an error. Four sensors, so without a scan, you're unsure which one failed. Bought four, but only had to use two.

Tigers had/have best record in baseball. Hence why the amazement of Mariners sweeping them after the Ms got swept by the Shankies.

Raleigh won the HR derby. Didn’t watch but actually heard a guy talking loudly about it a local park while walking the dog.

    Morning all:

May have just solved the PITB of having multiple ratio oil mixes for different 2 cycle engines!
After reading tons of positive reviews about it, I found AMSOIL Saber locally. This 100:1 ratio 2 cycle oil is supposed to be good for every ratio, and the reviews seem to support that claim. Some mentioned that they use an 80:1 ratio also without experiencing any problems, I probably will go with the 80:1 just to be on the safe side.
Anyone on here ever used the Amsoil Saber in their small engines?

You can use it at 50:1. I’ve been using and selling it 25 years. That’s my recommendation for multiple uses.

Are you a small engine tech?

I've got a generator I'm trying to determine if it's worth fixing.

I have never bought into the whole one .it is for everything theory. Working in a power equipment shop for many years I saw too many failures. If your machine and the owners manual calls for 50:1 then run that with a high quality oil. I had some really old chainsaws that called for 20:1 and I ran that even though I probably could have ran 32:1 or leaner. But I never had a failure. Oil is cheap, motors aren't.

Champion, maybe five years, stored after running it out of gas. At first it wouldn't start at all, but then it would start and die immediately. It will run if I stand there shooting starter fluid in it continuously. But then the starter cord failed to retract. Pull it... and it doesn't spin the engine.

Probably China clone Honda engine, aka Chone. How many HP, what watts?

Gumbo in carb jets OR from tank to carb, via fuel filter, or fuel valve. Probably make sure you have fuel to carb and if so maybe blasting some carb cleaner in carb first (to try luck) if not, then carb comes off to clean jets.

Well see if you can fix or buy replacement pull starter mech, depending.
