Even though everyone agrees mods don't add value when reselling, there is something to be said for buying a bike that already has a bunch of mods you would have done anyways.

That one looks pretty well kept too

I'm keeping all the filters off on FB marketplace while looking around. It's all dreaming at this point anyway. I think people are afraid of the multistrada which means there are a lot of good deals on them out there.

Multistrada, vstrom 950/1000/1100whatever sizes they are, tiger 1200, norden 901, keeping eyes open for anything.

I think if I tell my wife I'm thinking of selling the 701 she'll blow a head gasket. She's convinced I'm always buying and selling things which for some reason annoys her:rofl: Gently approach that conversation tonight haha

I remember saying at some point if I got another motorcycle she gets to get a cat. BUT I'm pretty sure I meant if I got 5 bikes, not if I sold and bought and stayed at 4...

True, and she doesn't know how much the parts I've put on it cost..

I'd probably let my wife get another cat if I got a new moto!

Picked up my first Ducati (and my first bike in about 10 years being away from them). Pretty stoked so far. Just need time to log more miles.

That’s something I can understand. Although I don’t understand why my wife gets annoyed as it doesn’t affect Her. It’s all a process finding the right bike. You just never know until you own one and put some miles in it. A test ride is only a small part of it. IMO find the bike you like.

At cost means at dealer cost, usually about 50% of what it's on the shelf for.

just a couple of things tbh
Ah I gotcha ya I could see that feeling like it could use just a tad more power for longer rides. What engine is it? A twin or something?

Psh saying 5'10" is short you suck sir! Lol

Best of luck with that one haha. I tried upgrading to a f250 recently because I found a good deal on one and showed it the gf and I got the glare of why TF do we need a bigger truck? The blue truck is just fine!
    Beautiful bike man! Enjoy it!

Someone sells a spacer that fits under the rear tank mount. It raises the rear of the gas tank 5mm, and in turn the front of the seat. It worked wonders for the sliding forward and practically nobody knows it's there.

edit: If I think of it in the next couple of days, I'll take a look at mine...maybe I could design something in CAD and 3D print it.

Had to run to menards to grab something for the basement work we are doing. Didn't have my top box so Emily went and grabbed her self a milk crate lol. Just a temporary thing until we find a way to have a quick release top box for her But she is happy lol.

Also attached paco the duck haha.

Yeah, that's the one...and exactly where I found it...I'm on that forum too.

edit: I looked at the vendor's web page and while it would be an easy print, I don't have any CF nylon filament, and it would cost me nearly what he's asking just to buy a spool.

360 crank parallel twin, rotax sewing machine, where both pistons go up and down at the same time and just alternate who is banging.

I do love the looks of the 950's, I just think the like almost monocoque looking body work looks so good.

How big are you looking for? The top case I have is Givi's bargain brand, I found it on eBay. The nice part is that it locks and locks to the bike with the same key. And, it was less than half the cost of a Givi.

edit: What I have is very similar to this - https://www.ebay.com/itm/3751456517...4Zfhfs0GAN/QZm+1Fv0Esr5g==|tkp:Bk9SR-iutYGCZg
