I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
I want a cap. Plain and simple. I didn't see any kind of cap accessory or TRD cap on the toyota site, although I swore there was one there once. So if you have a cap, what cap do you have and how do you like it?

I have a Bestop Supertopper. It's a folding canvas one. Won't lock or secure gear like a fiberglass one, but it was a fraction of the price of fiberglass ones and is easier to remove. Took 3 of us to get my father in law's fiberglass cap back on his Dodge. Real pain in the ass if you need to take it off for tall things. I've had my Bestop folded once and removed once. Not sure on the longevity as some of the plastic and zippers have started to break, but I could buy another complete kit and still have spent less money than any fiberglass one. :D I also haven't contacted bestop about replacement parts so it might be farely cheap to replace the faulty sections.

Yeah but it sounds like he's talking about a cap/topper, not a tonneau. OP, clarify?

I had a Nomad topper made by Raider on my last truck. Great for security and hauling...bitch to remove, store and re-install though. My Undercover is way easier for quick removal, storage and slapping back on!

I have a snugtop I'm not sure the model. Its not bad, carpeted on the roof so its pretty heavy. The windows leak but were gonna fix that. I kinda want to get a canback canvas top.

ARE LS2 , Superb quality! I have had it on my truck since I bought it in 2005. I think the paint on the cover is better than what is on the truck.

Mine's a Leer. Really like it too! The key hole is actually covered by the handle so you don't get salt and crap in the keyhole in the winter.

I love my A.R.E. Z series, perfect fit but lock does freeze up sometimes.

That A.R.E Z series looks exactly like what I had in mind. I was definitely thinking more cap than cover. I' googling A.R.E. in another window now.

I love mine with no real problems, great quality and perfect colour (Canadian spelling) match.

Just bought my second snugtop for my second Tacoma. Having window leak problems. Anyone one else? Appears to leak through the weep holes in the side and front windows.

My first Snugtop has performed well for 11 years but this one is making me rethink my purchase.
