You should use a Class C. Stover lock nut instead of the nylock.

@TACOTU3 Think I might pull the trigger on this truss. Bobby says it's in stock. Can we work out a Tw express?

IMG_8708.jpg Really happy with the new bumper from @drtfabrication

took my buddy and I about four hours to put on following the step by step video.

Prolly would have been faster had I been less beat up and more useful

looking forward to getting out and wheeling IMG_8707.jpg

I don't think it needs to be restated but if you need exhaust work in the central/east valley Scottsdale Muffler is hard to beat. In and out in under an hour for a reroute. $150 and an actual handshake. Very happy, now to sweat in the garage for the third night in a row before we leave for Colorado/New Mexico

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
Curious - do most of you do the reroute for the sake of spare tire space? I know some people beat the post down to get in a 33 (myself included), but I've noticed quite a few people do the reroute, and I'm just not sure if I'm missing out on something.

The reroute moves the exhaust up where it crosses under the transfer case...

Like Tailhook stated, more for the mid section. If you have RCI skids or other brands I think are the same, they have the plate bent around your exhaust. and leave less ground clearance in the middle. I know a guy that could mod your skids after a reroute is done?! That's my 2 cents!

Flat truck bottom, and a flat transfer case skid as well. Just provide distance behind the actuator electronics like on mine ...

RCI used to sell just the plate if you had one of their t-case skids for a stock exhaust and then went reroute for like $150...not sure if they still do that.

Sadly there's not enough room on the 4runners to do that, it'd be smack dab up against the actuator...:pout:

Its always nice when the source of my troubles is just me being dense

i just had to remove a couple bolts on the undercarriage instead of trying to use the holes for the crappy thin black skid

    thanks

There was a vid I saw on Youtube last night where some guys are making a transmission bracket that tucks up in there and gives you an extra 3" or so of Ground Clearance. They re-routed the Exhaust too.
Spent 5 minutes and couldn't find it now.
