Ohio just stopped rewuiring a front plate a couple years ago.

And it was great because we got a rebate from the license dept for half the cost....
    Oh, No wait....that's not right...
Aaa, oh yea, we paid higher fees...yea, that's how it went...

Congrats...I've been rrtired now since the woohoofloo shut peoples brains off and love it.
I returned to a hobby that I really enjoy, Archery. I became a coach and I help new and old archers with good form and good mental concentratuon. It's great.
Go to bed and get up when I want.
    Go where ever, when ever.

If ya aint got a hobby, get one. Find whatever gives you a sense of purpose and satisfaction.
It's important to look back over your day and say to yourself, I did something good today.
Because ultimately you traded 1 day in your life for it.
When you close your eyes at night your thoughts of the day should bring a smile snd a good nights rest.

That’s ridiculous, I wouldn’t worry, no sane judge would honor that ticket.

    Morning all:

:yay:, just remember that you worked most of your life to get to retire, ENJOY!

My first thought was about those LPR's, and if it is a prelude to making it easier for automated speed devices to issue tickets for exceeding the speed limit down the road, the DOT would make a fortune if that is the plan! :notsure:

I got stopped in Canada by a mounty who did a u-turn to pull me over. When he saw I was from PA he asked what happened to my front plate. I told him PA didn't issue one. He told me the reason he stopped me was because in his area (I'm sure other areas as well) they were stealing legal front plates and mounting them in the back to try to get away with driving a not registered vehicle..
I could see that happening here as well...especially in bigger cities . Milk the legal folks and give to the illegal ones that don't care if they get caught or not :annoyed:. Another brilliant idea not thought through if it passes Carl.

Here we go... the photos are taken at or near La Purísima, in Baja California Sur. That was the name and location of the 6th California mission [the Baja missions are the first 18 California missions, founded before San Diego]. The peninsula was California first, and modified to 'Baja California' after the expedition to San Diego and Monterey, which are in 'Alta California' [Baja = Lower & Alta = Upper].

    Original post:
So, while I wait for the clamshell (front diff) bushing and seal to arrive from North Carolina, how about a few photos from beautiful Baja California, from a trip in 2017... can you guess where I am in Baja?

The interesting hill is called 'El Pilón' just east of La Purísima. Bottom photo is the view to the west, from the dirt road across the peninsula to Mex. #1, between Mulegé and Loreto.

So, I got home from Jason's and the new bushing from East Coast Gear was installed beautifully. Jason (@Speed Freek) does such great work, has all the special Toyota repair tools and presses and is far more fair on pricing, too!

    The list is growing.
Home from golf and mowing. Wow it got hot out.
I came from a state that had two plates to no more stickers, then one plate aaaaand then back to two plates. I think toll cameras are the reason. Seeing as the turnpike just went cashless. Connecticut is itching for tolls or tax you by the mile. No joke.

Yeah but I have 40 hours of personal time to burn up still so it'll be easy. It seems like the pressure has already been lifted from me, 6.5 hours today. And honestly it went better than I thought it was going to. She actually thanked me for giving notice and not just walking out. I said that I had personal time to use up if I need to take a half day or day off, she was OK with that too. I said the other guys can have the hours if they want them.
So right now I've downshifted and I'm just coasting............

Being able to have the attitude of 'What'cha gonna do, fire me?' is priceless.

My dad always said: Don't burn your bridges. The job I had before the one I retired from had gotten so bad I didn't care about that. I openly dared my dispatch to fire me. I told him: I'll have a new job tomorrow, and you know it. He acted all confused when I gave my notice roughly a month later.
