That certainly changes the calculation! In this heat, working AC immediately is definitely worth that price!

It’s free for me depending on the level of the pain in the ass lmfao. So it’s a lot easier to do it when they’re doing everything else

Okay so got the truck back and the screen is rock solid now. I’m going to add an ABS kill switch. I’ve read a couple things on it, but wanted to verify the correct method for my truck.

    @Dm93 @caribe makaira

I have an 07, base model. Abs is the only option the truck came with. No VSC/TC at all. What wire can I splice a normally closed relay into to shut it down? Preferably a wire at the actual ABS pump itself would be the easiest.

I don't 100% know that this will work but I think you can use a SPDT switch on the EXI2 terminal to switch it to ground which would tell the Skid Control ECU that the rear diff is locked and disable the ABS.

Kind of a crude picture I sketched up on my phone.

Cool, I’ll play around with that, is there not a 12v power supply to the whole module? Is it not as simple as I’m hoping?

There's 3 powers to the ABS unit, not really feasible to cut all 3 or any of them without setting codes.

Why not do it the factory way and ground the diff lock signal when you want to disable the ABS so it thinks the diff is locked.

Just curious how to make a positive 12v triggered relay do that.

I mean you could use a relay but that would kind of be overkill. A SPDT switch would work just fine, it's just a sense circuit.

    Well for a standard relay:

Pin 30 to the EXI2 wire from the ECU
Pin 87a to the other end of the wire
    Pin 87 to Ground
    Pin 85 to Ground
Pin 86 to your positive trigger

The ABS light should come on when that wire is grounded and go out when it isn't.

this is exactly what I did on my 2012 TRD sport.
    Works perfect.
Can flip abs off on the fly and the diff locker + ABS light come one when deactivated.
I just did a spdt switch tho.

Is EXI2 the only one that’s blue with a yellow stripe? I’m not sure how to count pins on this wacky connector, but I only see one blue yellow stripe wire.
