Thanks again for posting Dm93. I see Toyota doesn't do the pinouts but was hoping I'm not the first here and someone has compiled a list or pictures, etc. so I don't have to rediscover the wheel.

I found a list on Pirate ( 3RZ swap wiring | Pirate 4x4 ) that corresponds to the pictures in this thread and also my 95.5 cab harness. I didn't find it to be accurate for my application but feel free to use the link to check it out for yours.

It'd be pretty sweet if someone had something similar for the II3 engine harness connector on a 2000 3RZ 5spd 4Runner. There's 20 odd wires (instead of 11) and only one color (+B) is the same. Thanks for looking and sorry for the sabotage but I hope this helps another 3RZ swapper in the future.

I can grab all the wiring diagrams for a 2000 4runner and send them to you if you like but I don't have time to start pining connectors.

No worries!! I've got the general wiring diagram from a 2000 4Runner but I'm struggling to find all the places it lists the II3 connector on the diagram. Hoping someone has done this and documented it with all the 3RZ swaps that have been done. I'll keep looking and DM if I'm truly stuck. Thanks!

Here's a bump and thank you to @Dm93 for his helpfulness and expertise in all things electrical (and more), in addition to sending me all of the wiring diagrams needed to solve this and to @Zach3rz, the OP, for documenting and following up on the fix for this thread that I searched. It makes such a difference when people follow up and document their fixes. I wouldn't be where I'm at without it!

Long story...After an impulsive purchase of this little 95.5 Tacoma for a couple hundred bucks, discovering someone had done a hack-job distributor to dual coil engine conversion at some point in the past, I took months of Marketplace/CL scouring to find the right deal on a used (cheap) motor, lots of parts collecting and purchasing then lots of wrenching, and so when the truck didn't fire up yesterday and only cranked, it was a miserable, frustrating day trying to figure out what was wrong.

I'm an early bird but I stayed up late in to the night and pored over the diagrams Dm93 sent me and finally figured out what was wrong. Turns out, just like Zach's truck, pin 5 on the IK2 harness was missing and someone cut the G-Y COR wire and tucked it back so far I didn't notice. After some depinning of the donor motor's coil pack engine harness (connector II3) and connecting the cut COR wire to the donor motor's correct pin, the truck sputtered to life for the first time since April.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

PS-If you need pinouts of any of the connectors (IK1, IK2, II3 or any of the connectors that go into the 95.5 or 2000 3RZ's ECM's, hit me up! Least I could do for the community to say thanks)

Somebody hated this thing for a long time. Too cool of a little truck for that so it's been rewarding giving it the love it deserves. I'll post a resto thread once I get a little more aesthetics done (and fix this leaky transfer case!)

I'm glad someone has the patience to fix basket case "modified" vehicles cause I sure don't, it's often hard enough to fix them when they are stock.

It's one thing to figure out factory systems but figuring out what someone else did... That takes some patience and dedication.

Install looks mint though, can't even tell it's been messed with aside from the aluminum radiator.
