Cant hurt to ask why? Id politely ask what happened.

Might been some squabble with family or one of the leasee's.

I was gonna say the same thing but I know folks who lease and it sounds like most often it’s someone who wants to essentially be hands off do I doubt he’ll get anywhere with it.

I actually kind of enjoy having those conversations with the handful of people I’ve banned from being on my property. I think a healthy dose of shame wrapped up in an educational opportunity is about as healthy of a thing we dumb humans can grow from

Its tough. Cuz im serious about hunting. And respect peoples property. But others think cuz its a lease they can do what they want Like its their property.

Yep that’s exactly the problem. I’ve banned one guy for killing a hawk and one guy for shooting a fawn with bird shot during dove season. Both of which I took a great deal of pride shaming and banning them from my land.

All I ask is you leave it better than you found, follow the rules, and don’t be an asshole. It’s pretty easy

So from what I can gather, the permissions are relegated to those that provide a designated service to the property this year. The services relate to logging. They have an individual that works for the PA DCNR in forestry, another to secure logging rights and another to facilitate firewood sale and logging cleanup.

I do know that the two guys I haven't met, one works in Ag and another in DCNR. As far as the firewood sale, it could be the Amish that logged it. Which would the absolute worst thing they could allow. They kill EVERYTHING.

It's all the entitled jackasses that screw everything up for other people. One simple thing, "Follow the Damn Rules". Nope, this bottle cap goes on the ground. Nope, we burn all the trash in the campfire. Nope, I'm too lazy to close gates like I found them, the list goes on and on. rtkbowhunter, sorry to hear that, hopefully you can find somewhere before the season rolls around.

This government dam was a water puddle, now a lake. The dam is right at a mile long and almost as wide. This is what I was talking about when I said "my deer feeders are now fish feeders :) The creek that leads to this dam has not had water in it for 55 years. Now that the rain is over, the creek is back to puddles and will dry up within a month.

The government dam is just across the fence from me, so the beautiful part is there :) Mesquite and cultivation is mine. You are South Texas, how far South? I'm in Central/West Texas. The thriving city of Salt Gap, population of 10 maybe!

I’m in East Texas. Specifically Yard, TX home of probably 8k inmates and about 20 actual residents

Kinda new to the site, but thought I'd chime in as I'm also into traditional archery. I shoot a custom recurve (Great Northern Ghost) as well as a long bow (Northern Mist Baraga). Plus I make my own arrows and have some hickory staves ready to turn into some self bows - too much fun! Can't wait for whitetail season here in SW Michigan - cheers

It’s kind of wild. Every so often there are massive signs along the highways saying “do not pick up hitchhikers, they may be escaping inmates”

If I remember right, theres 5 max security units out by my place.
