    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    1. Lane assist - They certainly prefer you use your blinker... Annoying but I also kind of wish every car rewarded blinker use. I have mixed feelings.

    2. When I back up... Sorry, I might be at fault. My wife backed up her brand new Sienna and forgot to close the side door. Ripped it off on the garage door. We submitted a complaint to Toyota because the audible alarm doesn't come on until like 3mph.

    3. Fuel economy is bad. I disagree. I've got 26 and 28mph on to long trips. Average 22-24 on work commute (mostly city). The boost gauge shows the "miles per gallon" to "smiles per gallon" exchange rate. Less skinny petal.

    4. no mud flaps... IIRC, removing mud flaps was the first thing people did on older gen Tacomas. Mud flaps are not always your friend when offroading

    6. I've found that I need to make sure my phone is disconnected from the wifi. Annoying, yes.

    8. My last major beef is the turning radius. Yes.

    10. It is super noisy. I find it very quiet ???

    13. I think I lost a few inches in the back seat. Yes, I believe so but its at the expansion of the front seats. I'm OK with that trade.

    1. Pick up is great....goes like a rocket. (This is where your MPGs are going )

I should have bought a 2023. Boy, you should read the 3rd gen complaints :bananadead:

You forgot the gas tank size.

What year was it and why'd you buy it? You could of had a Ranger or a V8.

    I think he's talking about the 3.5 6spd automatic.

The mistaken gen. I had to wait seven years for them to put out a proper truck.

My 2021 powertrain was good. No issues with it at all.

Every time I see a 3G, I want to run away/turtle up and head for the most remote place I can. Like the psycho ex, all the stuff I had to put up with comes back. Just when I thought I have overcome, threads like this pull me back.

There are no proper trucks with 5-ft beds.

I can understand the annoyances the OP had, if I had a 4th gen and experienced them, but none of that would've made me as disappointed as owning a 3rd Gen.

What are these “plug ins” you’re referring to? I have a 2017 OR.

First time with touch lock/unlock I guess? Just put the key on the driver seat.

    No different from third gen.

Lol, that 2023 wouldn’t go like the 4th gen does, and my 2017’s average mpg is 18.1

Ease up on the skinny pedal to improve your mpg.

Rest of the stuff was easily observed on the sales lot and test drives, or basic prepurchase research, so they shouldn’t be a surprise
