It has finally cooled off here and it's really nice now. Low was 61 this .owning and the high will be mid 70s, and the humidity is gone. It won't last but boy is it nice now.

    Afternoon all:

Anytime it feels like I'm in an oven, IT'S HOT, the worst part is when temps are in the 90's and there's high humidity.
I used to wonder how the heck people out west could live with the temps that I was seeing until I saw where 0 deg. here is the equivalent of something like - 30 or -35, and the high 90's is the equivalent of 110-120 deg. due to the humidity on the East coast. Even in the high 80's with high humidity, the sweat will be flowing freely!

Only a small pond and no fishies, BUT it does have some other critters!

    upload_2025-7-18_13-16-36.jpg
That's exactly what I just had upgraded.

Heavy rain at 3-4 am this morning. I missed hearing it, my wife didn't.
Sunny and 84° now, 4 pm.
Life is good... Now what kind of margaritas do I pour over ice? Mango, peach, or raspberry coloda?

Nice to have the extra circuit breaker capacity in the panel.

As a 2009 EX cab, 5 lugger, with a 4 banger, every addition is a mod. I looked over your work on the linked thread and you do quality mods. My first mod was a delay wiper switch. Did i say my Tacoma was basic but it does have a long bed. I am glad I did all the mods within the first two years of ownership because I would not be able to do them today. I am considering installing an App radio to replace an older Pioneer radio upgrade I did after I figured out how to add the XM antenna. The Tacoma came with the antenna installed on the roof but there were no rear speakers installed. The wiring and extra parts Toyota installed is a mixed bag.

Nice to read this. We are headed up your way next Friday but driving around the west side of Detroit as we head up into the Thumb.

Good morning. We are going on a boat ride tonight. A music cruise out of Annapolis.

We had scheduled a sport fishing trip on Lake Huron for the 1st of August and the captain had to cancel due to mechanical problems. He had to cancel the entire season. Found this out last Thursday and left us in a bind. So far I have not been able to book another trip but I am still trying.

    Nice !!!!

All I want is a day that I can enjoy driving my Camaro around or even attend a car show this year !!! . The weather here in Tennessee has not favorable at all for cruising around . Try driving a car with a locked rear " spool " and Drag radials on wet pavement , it's not fun !!!!!!

We're I live the average rainfall is 31.02 inches per year . This year it has averaged 39.98 inches , that's 8.96" above normal . I've been caught in the rain going to a car show in the Camaro and it's not fun trying to keep it in the lanes

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Nine inches above normal and we still have a third of the year to go. It's not quite that bad here. We haven't had rain in about 48 hours, but we could get some today...or tomorrow...seems it's just a guess anymore.

We got enough rain to say it was rain. The ground got wet. I think it might have been measurable, maybe. First time it's rained in over a month.
But the weather has been nicer than the last two/three years. I think we've only had a couple of days over a hundred, instead of the ten day stretches of the last years.
