I go by fit, I ended up with a simple Bell Qualifier helmet, its only DOT and no ECE but does me well. (mine has a silver pattern that matches my honda adv by coincidence)

    https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bell-qualifier-dlx-blackout-helmet

    alternatives is the K1S

    https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-k1-s-helmet

I have friends with the K3 and K6 helmets, both really like them.

AGV K1S should be in the USD budget. But if you need a tinted visor you'll go over.

Chinese company I think. I prefer my safety gear being made in a country that doesn't lie about their testing. Current helmet is a Nexx. I do have a LS2 for my dirt bike, but I am not going 70 on pavement.

I have one of these I got on sale and used FSA money for a few years back I keep strapped to one of the rack bars on my F800GS.

    https://mymedic.com/products/bike-first-aid-kit

I also have one of their TFAK kits on a molle pouch on my soft luggage for when I use that and am going on longer trips.

I should probably check those and see whats expired on them, now that you mention it...

Just got home from taking the endorsement class here in Washington. Exhausting day. Glad it's over and that I passed. Few days it'll be available online and I can add it to my license.

    Thanks!

She's got it scheduled for this coming Friday.

I was definitely the odd man out riding an "adventure bike." Everyone else was on a sport bike accept the guy using one of the class's TW200s.

I still get a lot of pain from old accidents. So I got ibuprofen, Tylenol, and since my body hates my ass, gas x tums, and some aspirin lol.

It's a pretty old helmet at this point. But... I might look at that as well!

Nice. I'm surprised more people weren't using the t-dubs. I took mine on one and it was so much easier to maneuver around than the cb750 I had at the time.

Oddly I'm an ADV/Dual sport guy, but I like sport bikes for the wide tanks, I can grip them better with my legs.

My class time was mostly on a ninja 250 and wound down with a CRF250L.

I havent been on a Tdub yet, keep hoping to meet an owner out here that will trade rides for bit haha
