I see online you can purchase these for the 4 door version, I’m wondering if anyone has found a solution for the access cab?

I honestly wouldn’t bother with these shit aftermarket window switches. They tend to run hot at all times and can potentially run your battery down if left for a long period of time. This was a common issue with aftermarket window switches for GX470s. OEM was super pricey, people went aftermarket. Then battery dies a bit later, and it’s the parasitic draw of the switch constantly pulling 12v.

Someone in the “what have you done to your 2nd gen today” thread I responded to tested theirs for one of these auto up/down for an double cab and confirmed it remains hot when truck is off.

I've had mine for couple of years with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I've never experienced it running hot. The power window switch itself is unlikely to run your battery down as it gets its power via a relay activated by the body ECU. So, if there is a 12v potential at the power window switch when it is not anticipated, the issue lies external to the switch.

This was from the master window switch module keeping the ECU basically awake. Perhaps it’s different on a Tacoma.
