What all did you do to reinforce and weld the panel back together?

I would make some fish plates out of slightly thicker material than the cab to tie the two separating pieces back together in a couple spots.

I think the center floor pan of my cab is starting to sag/collapse. Not 100% confirmed, but all of the metal around the body mounts look to be okay from the bottom so I don't think it's that. No separation on the back wall like some of ya'll, but need to investigate more.
Thinking it's mostly due to the bigass hole I cut in the floor for my dual cases. Where there used to be good clearance before, there isn't anymore and the the cab will ride on/contact the cases in certain conditions.

If that is what's causing it, my thought is to somehow add some tube bracing that spans the cab width to stiffen things up. I've been fighting "cab on case" contact for too long now...

Hm I like that idea! I could just make my own spacer pucks to lift it 1/2in or so pretty easily.

Yup. NWF case fully clocked with zero cab floor modifications needed

Think its a little late for that for @betterbuckleup though

Never been a huge fan of the resultant body and bumper gap, but I think I could live with a 1/2-3/4" lift. I just really don't wanna have to do any more trans tunnel sheet metal fab.
If it still contacts after a body lift over time, then I think I've got bigger issues...

The issue being that you’ve already removed all the structure from the floor pan. The body lift will help with the contact issue short term but you’ll probably still need to reinforce the floor somehow to keep it from continuing to sag.

I got generic jeeb body mounts for my camper that are about 1/2 inch.
I think they're energy suspension if I recall correctly.
The diameter might not be correct however they might have a more appropriate size available.

Ya the more I've been thinking about it, I'm afraid it'll just be a matter of time before I need to address it again so should prop take care of it proper.

Wish I didn't do triple sticks and just added another hole for the rear case....

Nother cab is probably cheaper and easier to swap than fixing half the shit from the last few posts really.

Yea that was the other thought I had, but that's a whole other can or worms. Idk if it would be easier & cheaper.
Need to paint match, tub, sound deaden, etc. which all adds cost.
My cab also isn't falling apart at the places others are.
I just need to figure out how I can add strength back to the floor pan area

Jack it up beyond flat and weld in new supports on the top side. The hard part is planning enough compound angles that it stays up.

i would do this, weld in some 1/8x1” strap across the cab floor on both sides and connect over the transmission tunnel.

Ya, I'm going to have to get creative on this one. Will probably have some better ideas once I have it all torn apart. why do all my mods end up involving adding more weight :poking:

Removing weight is hard, easier to overbuild the shit out of everything

Power ain't a problem, turbos, sc whatever... But more weight just breaks the next thing down the line on these things.
