Most people had their own bikes. Only like 4 people used the provided bikes.

I too want to try a tdub some day. They look like a lot of fun. The one they had was running some glass pack type muffler. Sounded good lol.

Rode up to Long Draw reservoir today. The road is open seasonally, I fully plan on camping here next weekend with the pup. Supposed to be in the 100's next weekend, so too hot to ride anyway. Temp up here was about 65-70. This is a side road that runs parallel for a couple miles that has some minor technical shit for a novice like me.

Aptly named Grass Lake. I have old timey photo's, late 1900's, of me and my lab, Oreo, in a canoe fishing this lake while a bull moose made his way thru the center. Not sure where any of those are anymore.

Long Draw reservoir. The dam is just out of site to the left.
The green mountain on the other side is the border of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can float, boat, canoe anything with no motor to the other side,(or hike) and about 20' from the shore are signs everywhere telling you to GTFO unless you have a Backcountry permit and paid the fee.
I have fished this more times than I can remember and camped the same. Limit is 2 in possession. I used to catch and grill all day, never more than two at a time. :D some big fish in there.

Other end of the res, RMNP is on the right. This is where the stream starts that fills the thing, it's the boundary line for the park. At the end of the road behind me, there is a parking lot and permits to enter can be purchased, hike in only. Never done it myself, looked great from the seat of my canoe for many years.

There is a small parking lot that gets close to within 30' the water. It rarely gets used. So I parked and hiked down for lunch.

Tires, tubeless mod, bike gearing, clothing, all have been working out great, no problems at all.
I've noticed it's easier to ride fast uphill in the dirt, but going downhill, gravity does weird shit, or maybe it's just me.

I may have sold the 701 already?

"Awesome! Everything looks great. Speaking of a deal, what’s your preferred payment method? Cash vs paypal vs venmo or check etc. The price seems fair to me for the year, miles, and mods"

Keeping my fingers crossed, not going to consider it sold until it's leaving the driveway.

I love the idea of super moto, I don't think I'd ever want a super moto.

But man, if you ever want a get-away bike, its the answer. I know I could easily ride one through a mall after a heist.

I tell people that my Hypermotard is not the only bike you should have, it should be the third or fourth. It's too much to appreciate a everyday. Like a fine scotch

    None... yet.
Tourniquet, scissors, blood clot powder, and... hmmm, I should probably go review what I have since I haven't actually looked since I put it together a few years ago. Figure I want to be prepared for the "worst case scenario". I can handle minor cuts and most indigestion situations until I make it home...

When I took my class the school had just bought a fresh batch of MT-03's. Mine had 9 miles when I started

Still want one eventually, but there are other bikes that I want more for the price.

Is that already as in "wow you just listed that" or as in "wow you've just got that bike like, 8 months ago?" :anonymous:

Yeah I said cash or if he's local, local bank branch to verify funds. His bank doesn't have a branch in my town, so cash it is.

Since I got rid of my 4runner, I no longer have a rig that can tow, and apparently neither does he, so he asked if I would knock $100 off so he can rent a uhaul truck/trailer and drive the hour and a half ish down to get it. Said that was fine, worth it to not have to drive to Spokane for me. He threw out Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of this week and is going to let me know which one works for me. Really, really hoping this goes through.

Check the cash carefully. Our local news just did a story with someone who sold a disc floor sander on FB Marketplace for a few hundred bucks, cash deal. After the buyer left when they looked over the cash more closely they saw it was printed on the back side "motion picture use only". Sucks but some people are just crooked.

It was an elderly couple and the front side of the bills looked real enough. The "motion picture use only" was on the backside of the bills and in the area where 'In God we trust" would normally be found. Goes to show you need to really look closely nowadays. Taking advantage of senior citizens is a dick move, period.

This, I got scammed with what looked like a legit certified bank check when I sold my Duke 390. In retrospect I should've been more suspect the way he wanted to pick it up at 5, right after the banks close so I couldn't deposit the check until the next day and a few other things. Luckily ended up getting it back a couple weeks later but I was still out $500 for towing and storage.
