I think I have my ducks in a row. Just need a range to shoot them!!

 

By the by, neighbors got some new ducks
At least they’re not roosters.

 

Right now; Rain in the desert .....
Almost heaven ......

 

Are ducks like that more noisy/annoying than roosters and hens ?
They have any natural predators ?

 

I tend to the pile tails together. Keeps it more even

 

They were quacking in the afternoon. That is all I know.

 

I'd rather have a duck quack than a rooster crow.

 

I wonder. How long would a duck or rooster last in the desert at night?

 

Most domestic ducks can't fly more than a few feet, and chickens less than a hundred. But roosters can start to crow well before dawn while ducks are relatively quiet. All things considered, I'd bet the rooster's crow would give a duck the survival edge... unless there were trees to roost in.
