Why so much battery? Do you camp with your truck or something?

Kartek sells many many different lengths. 200$ or so a set usually.

Pretty much. I do the longer multi day trips that is primarily all dirt. I have a Rubicon trip in a few weeks that hopefully @WormSquirts can attend. Immediately after that I have a trip planned that starts from Laughlin, NV that will end above the Bodi Ghost Town,CA. That trip will be 85% dirt.

Trail Head evening-ish on the 3rd. During the week is always best on the bigger, popular trails

Isn’t the whole point of a slide rack to be able to take hard hits to the front end and not jump teeth in the rack? Had a massive hit tonight and now my wheel is at the 9:00 going straight and a slight groaning while turning the wheel. Almost ripped the wheel out of my hand. Nothing looks bent or cracked, and the truck tracks straight, wheels track together, nothing out of the ordinary besides my wheel being to the left.

Definitely supposed to strengthen the stock rack. I’ve taken my fair share of hard hits and had the wheel shift around some but never that much. Associated mine mostly with spindle tweaks hence the new spindles this year.

I wonder if the steering shaft slipped where it connects to the rack. As if I didn’t tighten it enough when putting it back on or something. That’s the only thing that can make sense.
