I mean I could be content with my Fender P Bass if I never bought another one. I just want to try something different, and they seem to have some cool tone options with their electronics set up.

How's the house coming? You finish your garage?

Could also get into pedals. Some great diy kits out there.

Repairs mostly. Still have to patch the bathroom ceiling from a leak. And found some more water damage by the front door which is weird as no plumbing is there. So hopefully thats not horrid underneath.

Still have a pile of insulation in the garage.

Time to fix this all is fleating though.

Bummer, it's possible some flashing on the roof didn't get sealed right and it's just coming from there.

I hear ya on the time, the 4th was my first real break this summer. I still need to finish my soffit and a few exterior things, but it's the last thing I want to do after working all day.

I bet. Plus hot as hell too. And you got the kids. How they doing?

Yeah either that or door trim. Or maybe a condensation issue? Not sure. Will find out this week.

You got spray foam wall insulation?

Kids are good. Oldest just learned how to ride a pedal bike yesterday for the first time. Pretty cool to let go of the seat and watch him realize he can do it on his own. He pretty much rode the bike all day after that lol.

Nah just mineral wool. Couldn't afford the spray foam.

Hell ya! I mean pretty sure I did too when that happened. First taste of freedom and danger and excitement on that level I think. Bet that was awesome.

Ah, I've heard of houses with condensation issues when they have done the spray foam.

Yeah definitely one of those moments where it's fun to be a parent lol.

Yeah thats because they dont design a proper air regulation system and dehumidifier. Watched a lot of videos on it when we were building. But couldnt afford it so didn't matter.

No warranty from the builder on those things? Or has it expired?

No. Not that I know of. Not that I'd let that dude near my house again.

Indeed, I know you have more to discuss than just the topic at that time.

    How's your turbo project going?

    Is it still closed?

Wish I had another entire summer to explore again. Want to head back up that way.

Pretty sure it's still closed with no attempts to fix it any time soon from what I read last.

    Shitty. I found this:

UPDATE: (to my recent post on Morrison Jeep Trail) 4/22/25
OK, OK, the harassment 1f603_9085620607d1defe284f2baec975e3fbab3258ed.png worked so I made some calls...
The switchbacks are still closed, but there are some changes from what I said earlier.
My earlier post was incorrect regarding FSR 119. The emergency closure for the road along the river expired and was not renewed. So, as some have indicated, it is legal to drive up the canyon to the gate at the bottom of the switchbacks. The switchbacks are, of course, still closed to the gate at the top (Dilworth Bench), where it meets FSR 120.
I spoke with Evan Guzik, the Public Relations Officer for the Shoshone National Forest. He said they are still in a holding pattern due to a lack of personnel for many projects in the queue. He stated (I am paraphrasing) that they have "tons of money" to repair Morrison, thanks to the FEMA disaster recovery grants, but can't get the required personnel (mostly engineers, it seems) to complete these projects.
So- The Canyon along the Clarks Fork (FSR 119) is open (seasonally) to the base of the Swithcbacks.
The top (FSR 120) is open (seasonally) from near Long Lake to the gate at the top of the switchbacks.
Sadly, everything else is still ON-HOLD.
Part of FSR 119 & all of FSR 120 are seasonally open from 7/16 to 3/31.
Note: Shoshone National Forest is always very nice to deal with. I appreciate their willingness to take some time to answer my questions.
Thanks to our followers and fellow wheelers who also shared updated info.

ThisVVV Does suck though. That was a fun time! Glad we got to run it when we did despite it being 1000 degrees out. Let me know if you do of course come up here again.

Yeah and that problem is only worse now thanks to our current overlord  So seems unlikely it'll be open soon. Hopefully it does reopen at all. Guessing it'll take a lot of local clubs to step in and see what they can do to make that happen.

July 3 2025 something happened that would indicate the opposite of this.
