Whats the etiquette for “selling” a lease takeover on FB Marketplace? I had arranged a coupe yours with people tomorrow, but I just had a student tell me they wanna move forward ASAP based on the video alone. I’ll have to make sure he actually got approved tomorrow, but I’m not quite sure how to handle a situation like this.

First one to make a deposit to whoever, who cares if you hurt feelings, you'll never see them again

 

A lease take-over is silly unless it's in mint condition, tracking below miles, and if the lender offers the option

Some lenders don't and will simply force a buyout, or an early termination with a fee

Thing is, many times the fee is as little as $350-500 so it's really in the lessee's best interest to do an early termination

 

But also, why are you looking at lease take overs?

Do a lease, new from the get go or stick with your Yota's.

Oh no sorry this is for my apartment. I’m moving out of my one bed room to a a sheared two bedroom to save about $400 a month in rent. The guy seems pretty chill and simpatico. I’m sure it’ll suck in some ways, but I have to sacrifice something to try and save some money.
