Well and if you own a pickup truck and someone does this, and you want to back in, and use the tailgate no can do. I've been in tight parking lots where people do this AND I need to open my tailgate. You have to wonder if this was on purpose or driver inability. I see so many disabled drivers on the road. Don't signal, don't practice lane discipline, don't yield in roundabouts, the list is long.

I don't back in when I need to use the tailgate

And no we don't have to wonder - it was gross driver incompetence 100%

    FIFY

Other drivers suck and are dumb AF
Most don't even have a goddam licences much less insurance
Most have no appreciation for how dangerous driving actually is

Disabled drivers are NOT the problem, the problem is Stupid idiot drives and those come in both disabled and non disabled...

And just as if you are going to be getting in your trunk, don't back in if you will need to get in the back of your vehicle, trunk, tailgate or hatch... lol
And I back in almost every time I park, but not if I need access to the back...

I think @amyracecar pretty much summed it up correctly...

Dad used to say you never know what kind of day they’re having. Last week I had to get home for an emergency. I went to turn left out of a neighborhood I’m working in. The lady in front of me would not turn for like 5 minutes even though she had plenty of opportunities. I got frustrated and went around her. Just as I blew by her she flipped me off like the proper thing to do was just wait 10 minutes if need be for her to be comfortable to turn. I had a dying dog to get to and she was in the way. Sometimes I just don’t have the patience for the slow pokes

I drove past an old lady and flipped her off the other day because she was driving 10 in the 30 zone.

I got out of a speeding ticket once because I told the cop that pulled me over I had to poop.

    I really did have to.

Thats a big one here. I dont care if you speed but at least drive the speed limit! 10-20+ under the posted speed is a danger to everyone else!

Very true, and the prevailing speed is probably the safest speed to drive...

I have a close family member in law enforcement.
He is front line traffic enforcement and validates that the number of non licensed drivers and uninsured drivers is on a steep rise.
The number of collisions where the driver walks away, does not have a license or insurance and the vehicle is not theirs is 100%.
In other words if you sre in a collision sland the driver gets out and walks/runs away....he does not own the car (stollen) or have license and insurance.
And the instance of them being an illegal alien is also extremely high.
And it's not a question of if. It's only a matter of when.

This is why my truck is covered out the ass; uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage and an umbrella policy!

I wonder what kind of day the older bearded man in the black Honda Accord was having yesterday when he decided to make a left turn directly in front of my truck, with feet to spare, when I was going almost 50 MPH?!?!
