hey does anyone know where they sell brake line brackets for the rear or front/rear?
i searched and saw they came with bilstein shocks in the past...
doesnt look too difficult to make if worse comes to worse
i dont want to extend lines by myself or even have a shop do it from logistics/daily/baby/busy job

i might buy some for the lift i had done recently

    2.5-3"

    thanks

EDIT: looks like ebay is the place, only place i see that has them as of now

Unless you're going long travel you don't need extended brake lines.

A lift is just using the downtravel your suspension would've used while articulating, meaning you aren't extending the brake lines any further than you would have prior to the lift.

    thank you
I searched before posting this and did see some people having a back and forth about what you mentioned (it was a debate, inconclusive)
i figured a quick bracket is cheap insurance! but i had 2" lift and wheeled a lot with stock lines on 4th gen 4runner but
the OME dakar medium pack i put in, even with a steel bumper, is looking all of 2.5/3" (hasnt settled yet)
figured itd be a good idea

i also saw them talking about the emergency brake lines being more an issue on stretching and one persons pinch his e brake in leafs and locked up wheel on freeway...but the bracket id feel better about, im
going to wheel a few hrs from home in the future

The e-brake is in the rear so this kit won't do anything to address that. Even with a shock relocation kit and 14" Kings in the rear I haven't had issues with my e-brake.

If you do something like Chevy 63s in the rear you may run into issues tho since that's real long travel and flex.

If you do get extended lines may as well get something steel braided so you get better pedal feel for your trouble.

I can't recall the guy's username but someone on here makes some pretty nice brake lines. Edit: @SomethingNew71 is the guy I got mine from. Can vouch for a good product.

You think unbolting the brake line bracket from the axle will be easier than installing longer hoses on a 10 year-old New England truck?

1 YEAR OLD NEW ENGLAND (AND OILED AND GARAGED WITH A 5 MILE COMMUTE) oops no caps
because i sourced it from AZ (on purpose, its clean)

i figured itd be easy with the 1 bolt, lift and reinstall, but i wonder if its harder than that with some hardlines
attached to it as well (?)

id love to say screw it and just wheel it, but the OME lift i put on is 39.5 g t f

    thanks too

^Ah in that case the bolt probably won't break off in the axle. Extension bracket should be fine, assuming you need it. If you install longer shocks, then extension is typically needed.

For parking brake cables, the bracket near the front leaf hanger can be opened up and slid along the cable to give a bit more slack downstream. The hoop bracket mounted on the stock leaf pack clip can have its anti-rotation tab snipped off and be mounted to the OME pack's retainer bolt. Bend the hoop angle to suit the cable's new routing.

thank you Sir! looks like the got they got the ebrake line on the spring retainer but ill look into that slack trick you mentioned
breaking that bolt would be pretty rough - maybe ill leave it be since you seem competent, wheel, and i have the stock length OME shocks in there

having a kid in the equation makes you think about brake lines more lol
