Left the house dressed in just the shells, no liners. Was around 92 out. Hit the upper canyon and got caught in a serious squall. Water was running about an inch deep down the road. Scary af. Had zero trust in the tires with it flowing that fast and deep but managed to survive.
Soaked thru the mesh jacket, pants shell stayed relatively dry, feet were dry, hands are pruned.
On the bright side, this stuff works great. Couldn't have asked for a better test.

Something is bothering me with that deal they are giving you back. My problem is your bolt trade in. They obviously low balled the trade and you are entitled to getting your bolt back since the deal is being nullified. I would ask for my bolt back and since they sold it you should get ALL the money. They shouldn’t be able to make a dime on that deal.
Sorry my rant over. Just hate to see people get screwed like this.

I looped a wheelie on the razor this afternoon. Grabbed the brake but had no lever pressure which has been an off/on issue. Sometimes its fine sometimes its not.

Bike only got a couple scrapes. I came out with a couple scrapes but my damn hamstring is sore af now

Always eye opening when muscle memory kicks in to save you, but then whatever is supposed to save you isn't working, brutal! Good to hear you're relatively unscathed.

New options or used? Interested in new if that's where you're leaning.

just a couple of things tbh
This is incorrect as stated when I talked to my attorney you are not entitled to the amount they sold the bolt for. My bolt for the miles and its age was worth about 3000-3500. I got 3800 back from the other stuff they owed back.

The tracer is now gone and I have my money and deposited it already. ATM I'm going to take a break and think hard about the next bike if we even want one? ATM we are just going to enjoy our little dual sports and take them on trips and such.

Can use the money for a new bike, building the truck/fixing some worn out parts, or stuff for the house that is needed. So we will determine it over time.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Quit using Philips screwdrivers on JIS screws. Japanese equipment doesn't use Philips screws, they are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) and not the same.

Lol I have some. I think that was one of my first purchases for tools thanks to this thread. My issue is with philips heads specifically though. and it's not usually moto stuff but other projects and stuff around the house. Moto stuff I always torque properly except for fairing fasteners

Personally I'm partial to torx and hex head bolts.

Sounds like you got enough back to get started on an LS Swap

glad to hear you're clearing the space finally lol
