    Been there, done that
There are ZERO fucking consequence for the negligent party ..... and because they plead poverty, suing them is worthless too
So they get to just carry on with their lives while yours gets run over with a dump truck

LE should be allowed to IMPOUND a vehicle on the spot if you get caught the second time driving without a DL or insurance - don't care whose car it is; don't loan your car to someone without a DL and you'll be all good. This should be a legislative priority.

If you get caught a 3rd time, it needs to be a night in jail and you need to pay the cost of that night in jail in the form of a fine; a fine that will be taken from your tax return if you don't pay it. 4th time a week in jail at your expense - same deal.

I will give everyone one mistake but if you don't learn from that, there need to be real consequences
This Mickey Mouse shit doesn't work, we've proven that

Those that actually pay for insurance are the ones footing the bill for the scofflaws, that is horse hockey

I have an LE friend who does mostly traffic enforcement - he told me plain and simple that I should carry as much uninsured coverage as possible

    Some asshole parking
    Some Walmart entertainment

See the police car, someone going to jail on a Wednesday morning for theiving

See the Ford about to go around the police?
The Ford was parked smack in front of the police because it's their kin getting arrested LoL

By the time I left, I guess they realized that they shouldn't park there and decided to move

Walmart rarely disappoints on the entertainment value

This plus my own variables. I carry a ton of insurance, because heaven forbid something happens I don't want to lose my house.

Exactly, and if you small claims (at least in my state) they legally don't enforce a judgment even if the person has a job. Had my car vandalized as a teenager and I saw maybe $50 of the almost $1k in years..there was a warrant put out but that didn't help.

LE should impound on the FIRST time re license/reg/ins. Period. Plus an arrest. Sometimes you just gotta..at least if there's injury or damage.

I assume the pinnacle of that class was how to egregiously change lanes and not use a turn signal LOL

I will give people grace - the first time, you get a warning; because we all make mistakes and we all deserve some grace in those times
I am okay with first offender laws too - they usually allow for the expungement of a single misdemeanor as long as you don't reoffend in the following 1-2 years.

What makes me angry are the consistent violators that garner no meaningful punishment
We have seen again and again what no consequences yield us - flagrant violations that put the rest of the public at risk

First offense [in your life/driving history], warning
Second offense, impound and you gotta walk/call someone to come get you
Third offense, vehicle seizure and you go to jail
But this would require legislatures to nut up and do their job - and I don't wanna get banned so I'll stop there

I could go with a small fine the first time instead I suppose, assuming not one in a long list of issues at that time. But yes the constant ones are the biggest problem, particularly when their stuff affects others.

I always park in BFE, I just don't trust the GP these days.

And without fail, I come out and someone is parked right next to me.

I go full Get Off My Lawn mode lol

I generally avoid WalMart, unless I have no choice and I need something.

If the Walmart is ghetto looking from the outside, I do without.

They'd get the loud pop or multiple pops and maybe freak out a little though... And it is always funny, it may be more of a mechanic prank on another mechanic as they back a vehicle out of the bay thing...
