Are you talking about people riding horses as transportation? I don't know why people would want to be dependent on an app to find a charger when traveling?

I don’t think you should buy an EV

You mean like the folks who depend on Waze or similar apps to navigate them to their destination?

    Waze has EV charging info.

They might whisper that to Tundra buyers in the dealership. ;) No, Tacoma is their flagship - it is once again outselling its #2 competition almost 2 to 1 (Chevy Colorado) - which is good news and bad news for us buyers. Tundra is "the lab rat" - they typically (not always - ie. Tundra will now get isodynamic seats option) install/try new stuff etc their first. After all, the latest Tundra Gen came out significantly earlier than the Tacoma 4th Gen - reason is self evident - Tacoma is a much higher stakes games to screw up - it's their BIG seller.

I'm like @Soft Taco on his Team Oil Drop Youtube channel - No interest in a lumbering, hard to park, hard to maneuver full size truck - Tacoma has become plenty big enough - not to mention Tundra never looks as good as Tacoma styling. But of course full size has its need. My hunting buddies seemingly constantly lust after Tundra's bigger size (thats' what she said). Not me. I'm 5'10", Tacoma is perfect.

Weird. The waitlist was stupid here. 300 people long most wanting a premium plus and Lexus mainly allocating overtrails and luxury trims. I’m happy with ours at $74k and what we got. Perfect for our family of 3. The Lexus guy said it’s a lot of Tahoe moms who want the “it vehicle” and then realize it’s too small for their 3 kids and trade back in, lol. It’s definitely not the most loaded or class leading for the price point but knew that going in. See so many complaining about wind noise, lack of luxury feel, etc. but that’s not what it’s for or where it excels.

You don't need an app to find your way. You do need an app to find a charger if you are in an unfamiliar place. Gas stations are everywhere and the only time I see them close is when they are deemed a public nuisance.

Hard to get a body on frame vehicle to feel luxurious.

Super Duty XL with the offroad package would make a better hunting rig. Rear locker solid front axle manual locking hubs and Duratrac tires.

    You're being intentionally obstinate.

In a familiar area where you know your way around, an EV owner will learn/know the local EV charging options.

In unfamiliar areas, most people use google maps or Apple Maps or Waze, all of which can show EV charging locations if desired.

And don’t most EVs already include that info in the internal media interface?

My adult son and wife were driving home from a trip to Ark, new Land Cruiser appeared in the rear view mirror... I pointed it out... I'm the bigger Toyota fan in the family, and my wife announced - "Id rather have the Lexus (I barely know the name, I don't pay attention to Lexus, but it's what you are posting ;) ) blah blah blah - that's what I like" - that was news to me! ;)

What Stats did you pull from the NFPA? The Vehicle fire Between the Gas and EV? Did it show how many years that was Between them? And Just Remember the NFPA is in the BACK POCKET OF WHO EVER PAYS MORE.

There's a gas station on every corner and every one horse town has at least one gas station. Fuel stations are the most American thing there is. Apps and GPS has nothing to do with it. Standard Oil, Exxon, Buc-ees, WaWa, BJ's and Costco. Chevron acquired Hess just last week.

And when the light bulb was invented there wasn't enough power production and distribution that would allow a usual household to use one. Good thing we didn't move forward with that useless thing. Three cheers for candles!!!

Did you know EV taxis replaced horse and buggies, after they failed, taxi service returned back to horse and buggy before adopting internal combustion.

    Blah blah blah.

Same would’ve been said by someone 100 years ago about horse liveries vs gasoline / service stations.

Playing the Luddite is old news.

There are plenty of logical reasons to choose ICE versus EV today that don’t depend upon still living in the 1900s. At least try to formulate logical/ financial bases for your views that don’t depend on outdated and easily refuted claims.

There never was that many people riding horse back or horse and buggies. Going back and looking at population statistics would confirm that. California probably had 10% off the population in 1950 that it does today, that's decades after the introduction of the car built on the assembly line. IDK who said that about horse and buggies on every corner but who ever it was wasn't making any sense.
