Never ordered one of these but this set sent me over the edge...perfect for my vampire knight army.

Almost a week late, but what the hell

Brickworld Chicago was great, if not overwhelming. Wife and I took a good spread of MOCs since we've never been before and are not sure when we can make it back. Everyone loved Kevin the chicken.



Brought all the boats, set up in chronological order right-to-left. This was the last hurrah for the steam freighter and brown/tan brig (oldest/rightmost two). Off to the breakers later this year.







My crab boat was nominated for Best Sea Vessel, got a neat trophy for it. I also won the blind build competition.




Also realized I didn't take nearly enough pics of other MOCs. Completely missed some of my favorites, even. Here's a few I did get.

Also got to tour Jersey Jack's Pinball and see the manufacturing line for their new Harry Potter game. That was pretty cool.



Good trip overall. It was exhausting and my feet are wrecked.

Also got $12 back through Honey plugin, $10 on Chopper and $2 on the happy plants.

 

4x points haul, just need the Senna

 

Picked this guy up for $110 on prime day (usually 160). Really love the design and the figs, haven’t had a chance to build it yet.

Agreed! My guess is that they already have deals for the rights for Mario and Zelda themes so those were the easy grabs?
