Can you manually adjust timing belt tension?

    After watching Timmy the Toolman's video, and looking at the kit, I see no way that you could possibly change timing belt tension manually (5vz-fe). That is the sole purpose of the tensioner, thus eliminating the need to buy the expensive OTC belt tension gauge... Or am I wrong? Can I just use a Krikit gauge for the accessory belts?

    No, you can not manually adjust the Timing belt. It is a hydraulic tensioner. (Self adjusting)

    Yes, you can use a Kirikit Gauge on the Accessory Drive belt.
