Maybe he needs a Monkey for in home use... but this might be a good use case for an e-moto of some sort.

Uh...I looked into the install vid.

Easiest way to install it basically requires removing everything but the tank and engine lol.

Harder way to do so involves removing everything but the tank, engine, and radiators (which still need to be unbolted and swung out of the way)

I don't have the patience, garage space, or desire to tackle an install that lengthy and intensive lol. and if I can have the shop install it at the same time as the valve service, it'll save on some labor.

    Technically? You are correct.

    Legally? You are also correct.

Practically? No one cares as long as you aren't bouncing it off the limiter, setting off car alarms, or being obnoxious in tourist/beach cities. CA doesn't have inspections either on motos.

I had to add sufficient time to get distracted along the way. its more like 10 seconds lol 2:50 laying in bed and convincing myself to get up and goto work

Agreed, people (and manufactures) are way too into numbers, while weight and power are definitely things to look at its how it all works together. I GLADLY took the extra weight and less power vs a ktm 1290 adventure or the like for a proven no fuss long running bike.

Can we all just admit that cigs may be bad for you, but 80s Marlboro was cool as hell?

Ok I installed the new brake lever yesterday and seen a lot of slop in it.

Got to thinking today of a thin nylon washer to take up the slack. I ended up cutting down a fat drinking straw lengthways and made a washer out of it.

Blammo! Much better now. Cheesy fix I know, but seems to work sitting still.

I fixed a hole in my CT90's exhaust with a PBR can and JB weld, it's to-date my favorite repair. Sometimes cheesy and easy is perfect

I fixed a small leak in a replacement radiator on my R3 with JB weld. it was supposed to be a temporary fix...but it's still going strong.

JB weld is the bees knees. Used it to plug a hole in my exhaust silencer after my lowside too lmao
