I remember gas pumps with the tall glass that filled up first, then drained into your tank.
    Then these came out.
My grandpas favorite one was Esso.

    I miss Colecovision.

If - when I get my house my plan is a hobby room that looks like an 80s bedroom. Couch, vintage tv and Colecovision….

From eating all those acorns/nuts - the meat is surprisingly rich, in the same vein as jamon
It was odd the first time but made sense

They still do at the gas station by my house

I have zero doubt about what you’re saying. Some things just aren’t edible for me based on appearance of the source :sorry:

Like snakes, or say dove, or other weird or “exoctic” meats.

Remember the furry "Tiger Tail" that attached to the fuel filler door? Looked like you had a tiger in the tank.

I miss these days of gaming. I started with Coleco and Intellivision, and it's likely the PS4 will be my last game system. I miss the days that you can just buy the system, buy the games and just play.

I actually hadn't touched my PS4 in about 3 years until my daughter asked to play Little Big Planet 3 the other day. Connected the system to the TV, charged the controller, connected the system to the network, waiting for the system to update, waited for the game to update, all to find out the servers are permanently down and none of the online features of the game will ever work again.

The current generation is the worst. Sure, you can still buy a physical copy, but it's likely just a key for a download. Even if the physical copy contains the actual game, you'll likely need to download the updates to fix all of the bugs. What happens years from now when these downloads are no longer available?

And companies like Nintendo can brick your system if they think you're misusing it?

    @replica9000

Yeah I agree with you buddy, and we are sounding like old men, "it was better when we were kids..." - but it just was :) The updates and the charging controllers, yeah I get it, it's def annoying. My PS3 just had it's network port fried by a lightning strike. So I had to buy a new one. I ended up buying a nicer PS3, a white one from Japan. But yeah I was worried about firmware updates and not being able to play SOCOM which is the only game I play really and some occassional motoGP.

Even then the SOCOM server I have to connect to is a private one, some guy set up and he plays gatekeeper, very much like Sony.

You can't just plug in play anymore.

Still have ALL of my CDs. Proud to say and always will @golfindia

And now they are allegedly making a comeback and they are trying to rope people into Super Audio CDs which are like $35. No regular person is going to be able to tell the difference IMO.

I still have a fat PS3. I really should hook it up to make sure it still works. Not even sure what online features are still available.

I still buy CDs, I just don't have them on display
