I was giving her the onion on a whoop run and came to a rise with big one and as we came over it and started to nose down saw a 3’ vertical on the passenger side. Did a sky wheelie from hell and almost rolled. Blew bead off tire and kicked steering wheel off about 6”, assume it skipped some teeth. Everything was fine, no bends or cracks and tracks straight as an arrow. Rack had a tiny bit of slop at build time and a bit more after hit. Took steering wheel off and recentered. This past run rack finally showing more signs, dripping fluid and more slop or drifting at center while on freeway. Trucks are fun and stupid!

What are y'all liking these days for action cameras? Looking to replace my 10 year old gopro. Not opposed to another gopro, but curious about the insta360. Also wondering if DJI or anyone else is worth a look. Will be mounting it primarily to the eternal tubework.

Any favorite accessories? Most of the clamp mounts look way too small for 1.75 tubing. Mostly made for handlebars and motorcycle frames it seems. Searching for a way to clamp the invisible stick or whatever its called, to the cage....

I would just do a ram ball roll cage mount, and they make the ball to 1/4x20

Ah, great call. Hadn't even thought about ram. When you look up insta mounts, most of reaulta are just conversion kits to the gopro style platform. Ram is the way.

Yeah I’ve got ram for my Starlink mount on the dash and quad lock for the phone. Uses balls just like ram so I like it

Te designs engine cage is somewhat in. Nothing is tacked, which is why nothing is straight haha.

Lots of trimming needed near the cowl, unlike what their website shows. It's whatever, looks sick as fuck though

Speaking about that, fuckin chipmunks we're building a nest in my cowl. Somehow they cut through a plastic netting.
