Beautiful! I have similar shelving for my CDs, and my DVDs, Blu-Rays, and now 4K discs.

I had a Pong console and then Mattel Intellivision, always wanted Coleco.

Definitely a good move, man. I have all my systems in the living room which is good except I don't play unless wife is out or already in bed.

I can see benefit depending on the setting. A little odd when I go to a big concert, but from a security angle it would make the venue less attractive to rob.

PS3 I got about 5 yrs ago, and I haven't ever played any of my systems online nor do I want to. My nephew was trying to get me to a while ago but time being so erratic for me makes that not wise. Even at that I mostly play old school games for similar reasons...think like 80s arcade stuff.

I have about 1500 discs in my 8 foot bookshelf. I did built in shelves in the living room for my DVDs.

Better is relative to be sure but simpler, absolutely..and more long lasting. My Atari games still play just fine. Then again, with the zero attention span so many have now they don't think about that.

Was your 3 one that could play all the 1-2 games?

I get the no cash thing in certain situations, concerts . But huge food /home stores discriminate those that use cash by not paying the same price as those that have “ their “ card . If you buy pot you have to pay cash o_O

Yeah, it's the original 60GB model.

I'm not really an online player either, but the PS3 was the (my) first system that really started depending on online features. Some of the games I have had DLCs that was bought through the PS Store. I try to buy the physical GOTY editions whenever possible since they typically contain all of the add-ons and fixes. But I think my PS3 has some stuff on it that might no longer be available anymore if I ever have to reset the system or replace it.

I've seen restaurants lately doing the opposite, offering discounts if you pay cash instead of using a card.

For sure, they are adding up those charges they get for every card payment they take.

I knew house painter one time and he made me laugh when he said the mob had 2 sets of books lol

Remember when a line would queue at an arcade game in a pizza place, an actual arcade, etc?

I remember we had an ice cream and pizza joint in my town, and they had 2 or 3 arcade games in the back in a separate room. Kids would go there just to play those games. This was probably 1984/85.

Players would put their quarters on the top of the game's front face panel, above the screen. You'd see quarters lined up up there. lol

Like this but the panel above your head.

Mmmmmm..............Squirrel Sauce Piquante, very good dish.

And I guess Crawfish, Shrimp & Crab are probably on your list too. Imagine the first folks that saw them & said "Yeah, I'll eat that"

No those are not on my list :) Seafood is pretty normal eating. I mean I would never eat Puffer or the crazy exotic stuff....but many people will. I think people eat urchins too. Which seems kinda gross.

Lobster, shrimp etc def not on my list. I love grilled shrimp. I like crab too.

Animals that run around in your yard a bit different. Don't some people eat possum? Fucking gross. I don't care if it tastes like P----Y. LOL

I remember all of that stuff >and< over time, we had at least three of those giant-sized TV's. They took at least two people to bring them in the house, and they broke down a lot. My Dad was fiddling around with something inside of ours when I was a young kid (changing a tube I think), and set off some kind of lightning-bolt flash and a loud "snap" sound went off and scared us all to death.

I remember he said the screwdriver he was using with the big wooden handle probably saved him a toss across the room.

Remember when the Garbage Pail Kids craze hit?

It was insane. They were so hot for about a year or 2 and then it seemed like they faded....I still think they are a pop icon.
