Kid's team played a guy down for 20 minutes.

Missing kid got there, 10 minutes left in the half and still tied 0-0. Second half we put up 3 and won 3-0, without subs.

 

Amazing what you can get done when you stop helping others and work on your own stuff.

Ordering new battery terminals this Friday and maybe a junction block (will have to take some measurements first).

Front camera, done.
Compressor, done.
Add-a-fuse, done.
Main harness and antenna for remote start, done.
Mic for hands free/phone, done.
Antenna cable ran for GMRS, done.

Let's see if I can get out there tomorrow. Maybe between periods of rain? I have Tuesday off so I can get something else done.

Next on the list is reinstalling the ditch lights and running the wires, maybe start wiring the remote start (smaller wires).
I could also probably start on wiring the fog lights, or the new door speaker wires.

Sooo much to do.

Random hello all. Working on making Dads Odyssey clean & silent so we can sell it off. Moving him to a senior home Monday. Then the work begins to clear 61 years of family memories from the house & getting it sold. Life's not going to be about me for at least the rest of 2025.
Happy side note, fixed the clogged upholstery hose sprayer on my carpet cleaner that I didn't know was clogged.
PSA - run clear water through your sprayers before putting them away for 6-12 months.
Keeping it Taco - something was off driving to NY. Got there to find a super hot L.R. hub. Guess the P brake isn't always letting go. Did some fiddling, seems to have fixed it for the trip home. Another item on the wish I was retired already to have time to do stuff list.
Skipped the 20 pages I was behind, hope everyone is doing well.

3 games left. Have to win all 3 so we can qualify for Nationals in December, in FL.

 

Got my ditch lights mounted and the wires run, still need to terminate them and connect them to the Auxbeam. Can't find the Allen wrenches I had to adjust them.

My god life has been hectic.....We've been short staffed at work the past few weeks. Shit hit the fan while I was away camping over July 4. I will be losing 2 employees the last week of August (I knew their end date when I hired them) I had another on vacation for 2 weeks - @Cativelense .....they went to your neck of the woods.....Portugal!!!! In the interim I had another employee give her 2 weeks which was really 10 days. Was able to hire 1 new person. Another employee decided to act like a spoiled child and have a melt down whilst all this is going on. This generation of young kids is seriously fcked. They are IMPOSSIBLE, lazy, entitled, and want to know and be included in everything. And finally I had an employee quit on the spot....over text......please read pervious comment. Been working 60+ hour weeks, working on my days off, all the while helping the Mrs with her business etc. arghhhhh lol. thanks for listening.

Took a drive last night (dark road by the reservoir). Ditch lights worked awesome, just need to be adjusted.

I have tomorrow off so I think I'll make my ditch light install permanent (I quickly got the lights power just to be sure that they work), I'll also start wiring the remote start.

Everything looking good as far as the ankle goes.

Doc said I can downgrade to 1 crutch, and only have to use the boot when I leave the house. Around the house I can walk without it, and I can put weight on it. Not full yet, but as much as I can bare. Only have to go back in 6 weeks. Also gave me one of those heavy duty braces, with the laces and stuff.

As far as PT... Everything looking really good. Did some weight exercises, and she massaged the ankle and foot. It was super uncomfortable, but hopefully it'll help with the swelling and range of motion. Also did some walking exercises.
