I swore I would keep my daily driver stock, but well, you know how that goes... paid a visit to Sergio for a front bumper. Need to raise the coilovers a tiny bit but otherwise happy.

 

My feet look tiny in that pic. Looking like an exclamation point is working on your truck.

For anyone wondering, I picked up a few of the remaining Pelfrey center sections and can use them to build out my own bumpers. This allows me to change the designs a bit for custom work or just change things to suit my aesthetic. I have a few left for 2.5 gens if anyone is interested.

Back at it with some suspension work to lift my front end a little more to even out the taco lean. The bumper looks even better with the lights dialed in.


Sergio is the man. Yall gotta snag the last of the bumpers he has.

Thread revival! Couple things this weekend:
Built a set of sliders. Customer wanted something lightweight and we shaved weight in a few key areas without sacrificing strength. Pictures incoming.

also repaired the dreaded bumper mount. This area is known to be flimsy since the mounting studs go through 1/8” (or less) plate. The tabs tend to bend and of you take your bumper off several times, they can fatigue and crack. Welded on 3/16” plate with 3/8 grade 8 hardware.



Also finishing up this plate bumper- which is for sale if anyone is interested. You’ll notice no holes for fog lights- Instead of going with the traditional round hole for a pair of @Baja Designs squadrons. I wanted to run dual S2s on each side to pair with the center S8 cutout. That should give the end user some flexibility to run different beam patterns on separate switches. What do y’all think?

Yes, it has been a while. Truck mods slowed down for a bit. Just bought a house last September so been working on that.
