Way. I got the small bottle and will just add every year with the transmission drain fill.

 

I just purchased a '14 with a tranny shudder. I had my local shop do a fluid change and filter as I had 100k on it and filters never been changed, no difference. Went to NAPA and got a tube of the LubeGuard Shudder Fix {$10}. It worked if the truck was cold. Once warm, shudder is back.
Ordered 2 VVT solenoids from RockAuto. Took a total of 2 hours to replace them. Should have been 30 minutes but i broke the 2nd one in half removing it...BTW easy outs can remove broken solenoids if you're careful.

Something to note...instead of using the pan overfill bolt or anything under the truck, I saw a YT video with a guy that was flushing a system and to refill he just took off the upper tranny line going into the cooler. Seemed simple enough and worked really well for me. Took the spring clip off the upper hose, plugged the radiator side and inserted the shudder fix into the black rubber hose. I never thought about doing that...sure was easy.

Finally got approval after 2 years to get my bed painted under warranty, the rest of the truck was done a few years back.

 

If you don't mind me asking. Why did you have to get your truck repainted? What were the issues you were having?

 

Poor quality paint, They extended the warranty through 2027 I believe. They would only paint what was peeling at the time so I had the truck cab done now I'm doing the bed.

Long shot here, but thought I would ask....anyone replace their rear bumper and have the end caps leftover they would like to sell and possibly willing to ship? I'm in DC/balt area.

Trying to replace passenger side after an incident with a concrete wall...would take both tho if available...

Yes sir I have looked at ebay and Amazon when I first started looking around.

Prolly overthinking it but...ebay ones around 80 to 100 bucks...OEM are 250+, come in black only with distributor offering to paint match...stating it is a textured paint that the cheap ones don't have.

Not sure what that means, yet. So I posted here to see if I could find some used ones...may need to go to the for sale page and post a "looking for" post.
