rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Those sheet metal sinks are not that heavy. Not like the cast iron, or the cast ceramic.

Y'all ever seen corn planted like this?
    20250728_124207.jpg

There's about 8-12 seedlings per square ft.

Rented parcel next to my house.
Neglected soil for past 40 years. Last year, local kid, who's parents buy him every farm toy, renovated it some and planted tall fescue for hay. Poor yield, of course.
Now he's nuked it again to plant corn. No patience and too much money. Could have just limed it a few times to get the pH back up a bit.

I've never seen corn planted that densely. Don't see how it can grow.
Yesterday he put down fertilizer, about 200-300 lbs/acre right before downpours of 0.75" on rolling terrain.

Maybe this is a legit strategy. I dont know.

Good grief I need to get my eyes checked!

I always appreciate the advice that you offer to everyone, it has certainly helped a time or 3.

I agree that they all seem to have a similar heavy duty chassis. I've wondered how many accessories are available for this old dog.

My driveway is short enough that the 5hp blower will handle it, no need for a plow attachment. I would like to fabbercobble a trailer ball holder, this tractor does a great job at moving the utility trailer across the yard, no need to back a truck through the yard anymore.

I've built a couple of 2" receiver hitches and mount them under the back of my GTs.

With a little with a little internet sleuthing you can find just about any needed part to keep those AYP built tractors working for many years.

AYP had a full line of blowers, decks, plows, & rear mechanical 3 point hitches available.
For the most part it seems if the accessory comes from a tractor with that angled rear frame plate it is compatible even if the tractors were built 15 or more years apart.

    This is true.

Most anything can be found out with some time searching.

Often there are peeps that are not so versed at finding the info needed. It's not a crime

    That's why we are here.

Some of us get an 8" woody that you can't push down with 2 hands when its time to search out the details...we loves us a challenge!

    We here to help.

The collective knowledge of this chat is pretty impressive.

Here is one I made for "the Blue Mule".

    20250324_162617.jpg

And a handy crane that goes into the hitch as well.

    20250325_163437.jpg

It has a push bumper too.

    20250407_171516.jpg

For those who might not know the Blue Mule is powered by 3 deep cycle batteries and a floor scrubber motor.

Itll grow (as you can see) but itll be crap yields as the plants will be fighting each other for nutrients and even sunlight. Normal spacing is like 6-18" depending and then around 30" spacing between rows (again depending).

Im half interested to know how he even planted it lol. Looks almost like he tossed the seed in alike broadcast spreader lol

I didn't see the planting operation, but he definitely used some sort of drill equipment (Probably brand new, too). Managed to put a few rows right into the shoulder of my lane. Ignoring the 15' access easement, of course.

    Row spacing is about 6-8".

That's great. On the 1st hitch I built I added a hitch mount winch which also lifted a sleeve hitch. All fabbed of course.

    That moves quick!

I have a sleeve hitch for one of the other Fords, it works with the deck lift cylinder, I never had any "good" attachments for it though.

Your equipment is always so clean too.

Usually called dust devils. But when they roll in and dance around your fresh windrows they're hay devils. Its amazement but added work too.

I grabbed sleeve hitch implements when I found them cheap and ended up with almost every one you can get. I fabbed a 2" receiver to sleeve hitch adapter and am using them on my SCUT which has a 3-pt receiver hitch.

I even ended up with some of the odd sized Sears 3-pt implements and recently converted one to 2" receiver size.
